JJ The etheric body is much easier to see in the natural light because it does reflect some physical light as well as radiate some light of its own. If you become sensitive enough you can see the etheric field in the dark. You can also see he aura in the dark, but this is more difficult also. Another reason this is difficult is a point of focus is difficult to establish in the dark. I have done it before, but it took a lot of practice and concentration. It is very common, I still get that now and then, even now as I am stumbling on one truth after another, its like the beast with one of its many faces trying to suck you in again to put it nicely. But each time it gets weaker but only if you trust that still small voice within, it will never fail you." JJ Jean you have stumbled on one of the hypnotic mantras of the Dark Brotherhood. There are two powerful ones that I know of. They are "What if I am wrong?" and "Who do you think you are?" Now there is an appropriate use of these phrases, but when projected into the mind of the seeker at the right time and place they can be a powerful deterrent to progress and soul contact. (1) What if I am wrong? This phrase is often projected into the mind of the seeker when he is seeking to move away from fear based teachings, especially those that concern hell, fire and brimstone. If the seeker decides he wants to leave his church and move on to higher things, within his mind he will often hear: "What if I am wrong? If I am wrong I could burn in hell forever and forever is a long time. Maybe I'd better keep my big toe in the church just in case." This concerned me with in relationship with my church when I was young and it was only through a powerful confirmation through the soul was I able to shed all fear of eternal retribution for not conforming. I have seen many people come to an understanding of higher principles, yet still maintain a lingering fear of hell and thus are unable to fully shake off the tentacles of the church. Now don't get me wrong - at a certain stage upon the path the church may be a positive influence and some churches are much better than others, but the time comes in the life of a disciple where he must break completely free of the hold of outside authority and replace it with the inner voice of the soul. It is always the outer voice substituting for the voice of God that makes him afraid of hell and punishment for the innocent acts of questioning, or breaking free and moving to a higher aspiration. The seeker can often use reason and tell himself that he is 99.9% positive that God would not punish him for leaving the church or its doctrines, but no amount of reasoning completely silences that one tenth of one percent doubt that gnaws at him. Only a contact with the inner voice giving him assurance can give him the courage to completely break free. Many people who are into metaphysics have never been caught up in the thoughtform of eternal punishment and thus never generated that fear and doubt that the religious based person experiences in this life. Some look upon these people as being backward spiritually, but such is not usually the case. Many seekers in the churches are just as advanced spiritually as the ones out of them. Those who have never been captured by church doctrines often have little understanding of what the seeker within a strong religion must do to break free. And he who does break free will have certain advantages over those who have never had to make the struggle for such a person will have made a great step in seeing out of illusion. He will also have to live very close to the soul to maintain his freedom. Here's the advantage the church has over the seeker who is exploring the knowledge of reincarnation and karma. If reincarnation is true then I will not be eternally punished if I break free from the church or if I stay in the church. If staying in the church is a mistake then I can correct that mistake in a future life. BUT If the church doctrine of eternal punishment is true and I reject the church my mistake will be of overwhelming proportions. Being tormented by the devil and his angels forever is much worse than the delay of progression for a life or two. The temptation: What if I am wrong? Maybe I should play it safe. Safe is good... The trouble is many have faced this fear for a number of lives and have not broken free. They are like the two men who were afraid to move on the path in the parable in my book. It seemed safe for them to just stand still and go no where. Once a person has learned the lessons a church has to offer and does not move on he is just standing still, immobilized by his fears and will remain so until he quiets those fears and listens to the inner voice and moves in the new direction that God has for him. Punishment from God is the greatest hurtle to overcome from the "What if I'm wrong" mantra, but there are other lesser ones. You may receive a new direction from the inner voice that will put you art odds with your spouse, friends, co-workers or family and if you are wrong you may look like a fool or be rejected by them. It's almost like the higher forces test you to see if you are worthy of communion with the soul. I have found in my life that I often seem to be tested to the core when I attempt to follow the inner voice. Sometimes the direction has seemed very illogical and almost impossible. What makes it worse is after a period of time has passed that it seemed more and more certain that the soul was wrong as everything seemed to be falling apart around me. It is during this period of dark and heavy clouds where any further communication with God seems remote that you must do one important thing. Think back to that communication and direction you had with your soul and trust in it. Several times in my life this was very difficult for me for it did not seem that the soul was correct and the "what if I am wrong" comes to the mind with great force,. But, every time I have followed the soul at all costs in the end I have found the inner voice to be correct and the reward has been great. He who seeks to follow the inner voice over the outer will have many points of tension in his life and much courage, inner fortitude and diligence will be required to tread the path that leads to knowing. (2) Who do you think you are? When the seeker studies the lives and teachings of the great ones in history and desires to follow their example and tread the path of service this mantra will echo strong within his mind as he begins his journey. He reads of miracles performed by holy ones in ages past and he wants to perform miracles also. "Who do you think you are?" comes the voice. "You are not holy - you're not even a good person. Just look back upon your life and you'll see that you are sinful and unworthy indeed." The seeker reads about acts of courage and valor that lead to new discoveries, new enterprises and new opportunity. He wants to be like these brave men and women and show others the way to higher ground. "Who do you think you are?" comes again the voice. Look at all the cowardly tings you have done in your life. Crawl back in your hole. You are no hero or pioneer. The seeker reads of teachers and philosophers who have inspired many and made the world a better place. He wants to do the same. "Who do you think you are?" comes the voice. How do you expect to teach when you've been such a poor student that you're lucky to get anything right? People will see right through you - that you're a poor excuse for a human being let alone a teacher. Why the constant search? There are many repeating patterns for each person, set in 'past lives', and set in the genetic core of the body. For a few short weeks[it seemed like a life-time] before I found JJ's books, JJ himself, and then this class...I came to this exact place on my path..where I begin to question the certainty of the state of my soul. What triggered this was the David Icke information about the reptilian-thing. This information then triggered in me, from my Church of Christ background, the 'fear' of the reality of demons and evil. Now..you see Ramtha [my teacher at this time] had always said that there is no such thing as evil and no such thing as demons or devils except in the mind only. I strongly 'got' that that had been a 'lie'..which I did not appreciate being misled into believing for 10 years..while being his student. Anyway..I felt lost..that I no longer trusted Ramtha..and I did not want to return to the Church environnment that I had left behind with the dogma about 'hell and brimstone'. So..in my soul I was in desperation..on which direction to turn. Not that I felt lost without a teacher per se..but that I had to throw out all my past beliefs from whatever source and start ALL over again like a baby learning to walk. I always have known that my spirituality was important in my life..but I could not eat, sleep, or rest until I had my spiritual path understood and directed...like something to hold on to. What I finally came to, out of desperation, but, some stubborness added in..was that I would just have to become like a little child..and trust only the basics that a child would. Number one..I believed that if you knock you WILL receive..so I knocked on the door..but because I was so confused on what or who to communicate with or surrender to..I made it about the SOURCE...the top enchilada...and I either get an answer back...and if it was the WRONG way or I was going to burn in hell or be lost in a black-hole or whatever..it had to be the Top-Dog[God]-The Source of All or nothing. As a matter of fact..I let the Source[God] know that I was willing to burn in hell over doing any thing else except having a straight avenue without any rituals, baptisms, secret wisdom schools, spending another dime on spirituality ,etc. That was it..for me..either COME through with answers or I give-up..it is not worth it anymore. Judes: I partly agree with this, Chris, but partly do not..because although what you say is true..there is a 'aspect' of ourselves that wishes to sabatoge everything we accomplish progressively..this 'part' of ourselves can be overcome. I have discussed with you and the list before on this overcoming of the genetic-self..which may be 'fears', etc. carried in the genes for eons and some more recently. There is another aspect to this which is down-right social conditioning or mind-control due to our mass-consciousness and the limitations that we put on our selves from a peer- presssure source. The last few weeks have been really hectic for me. It's difficult to put in words but the Oneness Principle is really becoming strong. I think something and JJ posts it. I feel something from someone and have an e-mail or post from them moments later. I check the forum and there is nothing new. A moment later I feel someone has posted, even what it is about, check it, and they have. The phone rings and I think, you don't want to talk to them, and I don't. I need something, and it just materializes out of thin air. Now this really isn't unusual in my life, but the frequency of these occurrences have increased a thousand fold lately, and it is so acute. I woke up this morning remembering a dream. I was telling the people how their lower natures would fight to survive as their abilities increased. Checked the list, and what had JJ posted. Then I received a letter from Laura telling me about her dream. You guessed it. Dead On! There are certain people on this list, and forum that I even know when they are feeling depressed, or irritable, strong, or having second thoughts. It is actually errie at times. I have even touched the tip of the Iceberg here. Anyone else experiencing this. I know several who are. I can read Mindy like she is sitting in the same room with me, and she can do the same with me. I constantly feel Jean, Deborah, and Judes in the Oneness, and those are just a few. I actually feel like a Volcano rumbling sometimes, for lack of a better term. It isn't at all uncomfortable, more like drawing the Blank Viking Rune. This will be a formidable task, as I have been given resources and opportunities to plumb the depths of my being, so I am a simple but also complicated individual. Most of the world knows me as the mother of three grown sons and recently the stepmother of three daughters. I recently married a soul-mate by every meaning of the word last February. We now have 7 grandchildren between the both of us. I am quite interested in practicing a healthy lifestyle to include mind, body, and spirit. I enjoy regular exercise and disciplined, self-controlled eating and balanced lifestyles. In 1982, I was given every opportunity in life to see what I was made of, ultimately experiencing life to the fullest. The other strange quality about becoming this geometric shape was the fact I did not feel human at the time, but became a different type of consciousness. I can only describe this consciousness as alien in nature. The overriding feeling I had upon returning to my body after the experience was, 'Oh my God, I'm not human at all, but something else.' This feeling of the other consciousness disturbed me to the core. A few years ago a big thing in malls was a stand with these 3D images which looked like a confusing repeated image but if you looked at the picture a 'certain' way, a 3D image sort of jumped out at you. When the Masters meditate on a certain disciple they will often see geometric shapes and interpret his progress from them. Christopher gave two different posts I thought I would comment on. First his story: Let me quote it since it was posted a while back: "Jane was a member of a women's spiritual healing circle that met once a week to discuss matters of spirituality and evolution of the soul. "She was having marital difficulties with her husband Robert and many times the subject of relationships between male and female were discussed within the circle. "Her situation was getting worse and Jane was getting more and more depressed. One week she rang the leader of the circle and told her that she would not be attending this week because she wasn't feeling well enough. She gave her permission to be included in the group prayers for the night. "At the meeting, again the subject of relationships came up and people started to discuss quite emotionally their own relationships. The time for prayers came and the circle closed and prayers were said and Love and Light were sent to Jane. "Prayers, love and light that were based on the emotions of the circle, the feelings and needs of the members, their sympathies and their issues with their own partners. "Jane was at home, alone because Robert had gone out for the evening. She felt the prayers and sat quietly. "All the sudden, energized, she stood up and cried out "if only Robert was dead" "At that moment Robert's car swerved off the road and crashed into a tree. He was killed instantly. "Every member of that woman's spiritual healing circle was culpable because it was their thoughts, their energy that was gathered into the thought form which Jane projected at Robert." JJ Most of the members seemed to believe that the thoughts of the group had little or no effect on the guy killed and Chris seems to think the group was largely responsible. I tend to take the middle ground here. It is true that other people's thoughts and feelings do have an influence on us, more subtle than actions, but effects nevertheless. Powerful negative emotion tends to send the effect with a lot more force than mere thinking does. Even so the guy did not have to have an accident. He evidently picked up the energy, but it was his fault he allowed himself to be distracted. If a guy has an accident because he looks at a pretty girl the accident is still his fault. The pretty girl was a distraction it is true, but she did not force his hand in driving into the other car. I have picked up negative thoughts and emotions many times in my life and have discovered that when this happens I must pay particular attention to avoid accidents. Another interesting note is that when another person is angry at me I can see his or her negative energy in my aura even though I am at peace with myself. When this happens I find that saying the Song and some OMS helps to dispel the negativity. In my last post I talked about the dark mantras and Chris seems to think that any implanted thought comes from our subconscious. Actually his story that I quoted goes against this idea. Chris seems to think that the guy who hit the tree did not do so because of his own negative thoughts, but because of an impression received from other beings. If such an impression can come from mere normal humans then the advanced Dark Brothers or the Brotherhood of Light surely has even greater power to send impressions. Do the two Brotherhoods just sit around all day and ponder their navels and ignore humanity??? No neither of them ignore us, but have a great deal invested in the human kingdom and are in opposing struggles to influence us. There are numerous types of communications beyond the normal physical and as the disciple develops soul contact he learns to distinguish between their various vibrations. (1) Communication from the astral or emotional body. Many beginners believe this is soul contact because it may be the highest they have yet received. Most people take the highest they have received and see it as God talking to them. Unfortunately the information received from the astral is wrong about 90% of the time. Many of those who have swallowed the prophesies of doom that never happened rely heavily on the astral. (2) The Higher mind. This is like a great computer and delivers much more accurate information than does the emotional body, but it will be wrong about a third of the time without soul contact. (3) The soul and higher worlds. Even though there are differentiations here we will group all these higher contacts as "soul contact" for the soul is the doorway to all higher contact. The soul only recognizes that which is true and does not even see error. Therefore the soul only vibrates when truth is spoken or presented. When a truth is spoken and it just seems to "ring true" that can be a soul confirmation if the seeker has moved beyond the emotional influences. (4) A Master or Higher Life sending you a communication through the soul. Receiving this is very much like receiving impressions from your Higher Self through the soul for to accurately receive either of them one must look within. But even though one looks within and receives a communication from a Master through the soul, the actual communication originated from without and there will be a different vibration to it than an impression from your Higher Self, or Solar Angel. The vibration from your own soul will be extremely consistent, but if you get a communication from two different Masters you will note two different vibrations or signatures. Just like each of us has a different face even so does each living entity have a differing vibration that has a different feel to it and the disciple can learn to recognize them. John W evidently notes a differing vibration among members of the group that he is close to. He will understand what I am talking about. (5) An astral entity communicating through the astral body. Most channeling is done this way and is not very accurate unless the mind of the receiver is well developed. (6) A Dark Brother or one of their associates. Whereas the receiving point for communication from a Master originates in the innermost core of your being the reception area for the Dark Ones is in your outer aura. The Brothers of Light first penetrate to the core and vibrate outward filling your whole being with light, but the Dark Ones first penetrate the outer periphery of your being and attempt to work toward the core until the darkness hides the inner light. You will know for sure you have soul contact when you can tell the difference in vibration in these six different areas. I have always chewed, spit out, digested, and chewed some more about every little change. In this I did NOT. I knew immediately that I must make the move to Boston. I feel utterly and absolutely compelled and sure that this move MUST take place. I am finished with my "work" here in WA and it is time for a new beginning. Funny how only 2 months ago I got in touch with a dear friend after many years of not communicating. She lives very near Boston!! Now she is astonished at this development and is already helping me with info, newspapers, real estate booklets, schools, etc. Hmmmmmmmm. Coincidence??? I heard God's voice and message in "everyone" I spoke to about it. They happened to blurt out a tidbit here or there that was definitely God talking to me. I could only smile. These friends had no idea that what they said that were God's messages to me!! :o))))) So in conclusion, what I am seeing is many "new" opportunities for spiritual growth, change and upliftment for those with ears to hear, but also some terribly difficult experiences for those who resist. And I have seen both very clearly. I am one who will abide in my higher self, no matter what my "ego" says or feels. I feel truly blessed that at this most special time, I have been given the gift of "clarity" and true "soul contact." Finding you all and being able to serve is another great sign to me. And I have, as you all know, have had the opportunity to have another "go" at it with my sister. We have e-mailed and I feel totally clear on the dysfunction and one-sidedness of our relationship. I thought you don't have much chance of finding anything substantial here on that subject, but more is on the way, and smiled. Then the next day Jean posted on the forum that she had been at the library searching for more information on that very subject. That is a confirmation. Other times someone is looking, or searching for a certain thing. Others may know that they wont find it where they are looking. Yet they also know that this search is part of the process, and if they just gave them the answer it would be a great injustice to them. So they just lay back knowing that those very answers will be posted in the near future, and that the person in question will immediately pick up on it, and resonate with it. Then off on another quest. LOL My point is that we have to have one pointed attention. One thing at a time. If we are worried about our finances, family problems, and our spiritual quest simultaneously, not one of them will get proper attention, and all will suffer in the process. It is said by some investigators of the circles, that the naturally formed ones have the stalks gently bent and not broken as are the ones that are man-made. Some people have spent a night watching for them to form and find that sometime in the dark they just appeared within moments and never saw anything or anyone. Our Senators and Congressmen don't pay in to Social Security, and, of course, they don't collect from it. The reason is that they have a special retirement plan that they voted for themselves many years ago. For all practical purposes, it works like this: When they retire, they continue to draw their same pay, until they die, except that it may be increased from time to time, by cost of living adjustments. For instance, former Senator Bradley, and his wife, may be expected to draw $7,900,000, with Mrs. Bradley drawing $275,000 during the last year of her life. This is calculated on an average life span for each. This would be well and good, except that they paid nothing in on any kind of retirement, and neither does any other Senator or Congressman. This fine retirement comes right out of the General Fund: our tax money. While we who pay for it all, draw an average of $1000/month from Social Security. Imagine for a moment that you could structure a retirement plan so desirable that people would have extra deducted so that they could increase their own personal retirement income. A retirement plan that works so well, that Railroad employees, Postal Workers, and others who aren't in it, would clamor to get in. That is how good Social Security could be, if only one small change were made. That change is to jerk the Golden Fleece retirement out from under the Senators and Congressmen, and put them in Social Security with the rest of us. Then watch how fast they fix it. I have numerous e-mails in my box that I have either not been able to respond to or have not been able to give the answer they deserve. Take John W. for instance. Sometime s he will write me a fairly lengthy letter updating me on his forum, activities, comments sent to him about my articles etc. Even though I greatly appreciate these communications I sometimes feel bad that I only send him a short reply and often days after his mail was received. The far majority of my free time is devoted to writing and dealing with the group as a whole. Fortunately, I am not the only servant here. More are stepping forward all the time and assisting others in their questions and needs and for this I am grateful. Let us review the Principles of Discovery covered so far. They are: (1) Take the things you know (for reasonable surety) to be true and use them as a foundation or stepping stones for testing additional truths. (3) The teaching should be in harmony with common sense (4) It should increase the power of Decision and free will. (5) It should bring you to a new level of awareness and usefulness. (6) Seek out true sources of knowledge, study and incorporate them into your life. Knowledge dispels error and illusion. (7) Gather all the reliable information you can about a subject of interest and try and see the principles suggested by the data. Then draw conclusions and run the conclusions by your soul and see if you receive a response. (8) Follow all the aspects of the Will of God that is within your perception and your sensitivity to the truth will increase. (9) The Process of Elimination. Eliminate those things that are definitely not true and contemplate on that which remains. (10) Effective Communication (A) Communication through perception of the outside world. (B) Person to person communication. (C) Communication through the soul. (11) Truth is in harmony with spiritual principles; therefore we discover that which is true through the application of those principles. (12) The principle of planting and harvesting. (13) "The Law of Correspondences." The priinciple behind it is "as above so below," and visa versa. (14) Take that belief which is embraced by the world and look in the opposite direction. In this opposite direction much truth lies hidden. In relation to our recent discussions on the soul I have been contemplating the name of the current principle revealed and have decided on: (15) Discernment. In particular the disciple should seek the power to discern beyond physical seeing so he can see the difference in effects from the astral/emotional world and the world of the soul. The seeker can read all the books in the world, attend all retreats, sit at the feet of many gurus and teachers, but until he develops the ability to discern between emotion and spirit, truth and error the good and the bad he will be at a standstill in his progression. Right after Clinton was voted in and before he was inaugurated, I wrote a letter concerning Social Security (didn't send the first, cooled down first and rewrote it) to at least one Congressman from every single state and to all of the main newspapers that I could find addresses for and made the Post Office rich. I made a plea then for the reasons why Social Security should be removed from the general budget. It was originally separate from the budget and was originally meant to be a full retirement fund until money hungry politicians got dollar signs in their eyes. And to you younger ones, pensions didn't exist back then. The rich made their money and squirreled it away in a mattress or something for their old age. The poor still had to live from day to day with no funds to put away for themselves. It took all they had just to have the necessities. Inflation is defined as an increase in the money supply. This increase devalues the existing money in the market, causing the effect known as inflation. It's simple supply and demand. If there is suddenly more of something, all of that something loses value. If there is less of it, it rises in value. Think what would happen if, for example, a huge deposit of gold were found and released into the market at once. Gold would drop in value. You can see this in action if you watch the computer market. Being one of the fastest moving markets we see it all the time. A new chip comes out, it's really really fast, but they can't make that many of them. So it costs a lot, but as the newer chips come out and they get better at making the older ones there are a ton of them available. The price drops quickly on the older ones. In the mean time the latest and greatest is now released and costs a lot. This cycle repeats every 6 months or so in the computer CPU market. The current inflation rates vs. the current interest rates means that money in savings sometimes LOSES value! People are always whining about how $1 used to be worth something. Like the 10-10-220 commercials on TV. It's a wonder to me those same people don't look around and figure out why it happened and what can be done about it. We can't go back, that would have a chilling effect on the economy. But we can keep it from getting worse. I would like to share another principle that I have recently become aware of that has helped greatly; and goes along with the above statement and the principle of Planting/Harvesting. In my trial/test of turning my financial tension-thing..I became aware of other principles that could be applied to make changes to my situation. It was quite exciting to see this and then follow in my mind the progression of how these new principles could affect my life as a whole. But, then, the actual DOING or applying the principles was a whole other ball-game. Changing habits and breaking through the blocks that produce inertia, lack of motivation, or immobility. But..I wanted to in general say that just yesterday..I realized that MOST progressive thought and ideas are engendered by the 'good[godly]-forces'..and THEN these are taken and manipulated by the D.B. for their agendas and to counter-balance the input of progressive movement for humanity. So most every 'new paradigm' or 'movement' has a good-side and a down-side to it; but was most likely an impetus for good originally. I often use the analogy of a weight-lifter or a cardio enthusiast when discussing spiritual and personal progress. You see, a body builder who lifts every day of the week will wonder "Why aren't my biceps getting bigger?" And the cardio enthusiast will run/bike/aerobicize 6 times a week and wonder "Why am I so fatigued?" The smart trainer knows that the real development (muscle building, etc.) takes place during the BREAKS, during the downn-time, and so will alternate workouts in order to give the body time to recoup and build up. Sounds like you are doing the very same thing with yourself. And you'll be so very pleased with the results! Actually, you already seem to be pretty pleased. Onward and upward! ~B. I started listening to American Bandstand in 1960, and listening to KOMA in Oklahoma City at night. Then it got religious for me with Kansas in the early 70's. I can tell you that Rock-n-Roll is passionate music, and will forever be one of my loves. The music and lyrics have often reflected feelings of mine as I passed through paradigm shifts of all kinds.
