The Immortal talks of how the animal, vegetable and mineral kingdoms reach the utmost they are capable of within their own kind then combine to create something greater than themselves individually. (p.218). i.e Us. Just as we will combine in human molecules to become something greater than the sum of the parts. Not sure how to answer "where did we as entities come from", except to say God expressed Himself/Herself/Itself and here we are, an expression of God. I look forward to finding out more on this. No, like God of which we are aspects, we did not have a beginning, so we will have no end, but we will go through many transmutations which give the appearance of such. An acorn does not resemble the oak into which it grows or the humus into which it decays. The physical is cyclic in nature (unlike the soul or the spirit) and we identify points in these cycles which we regard as beginnings (eg birth) and endings (eg death), which have their parallels (although not in a form we would recognize them from our current viewpoint) in the higher, formless worlds. It's hard to believe that I am 55 and eligible for senior citizens discounts in many restaurants. Whenever I get any mail from AARP I throw it away immediately. I have much too much to accomplish to ever think of retiring in this life. I believe that every seventh life is a Sabbath and you get to take it easy, but this life is definitely not a Sabbath for me. I also wish to thank Rick, Mark, Marylin and others who have worked on the archives. I'll bet we are the only list on Spiritweb who value their archives enough to attempt a project such as this. I would also be willing to bet that the work done here will be appreciated by many for a long time to come. Perhaps more than we realize. And Rick. We should gather all the good and true principles in the world and treasure them up, or we shall not come out true Mormons." DHC, Vol.5, p.517 I see that you see great doom ahead for the bulk of humanity, but such has not been decreed by God. We have been warned of it but we are in no way doomed to mass destruction. You seem to have a mindset on this very similar to Fundamentalists Christians using a literal interpretation of the Scriptures. I take a different approach. Even though I study many scriptures the black and white words are far from the final verdict with me. What is then? It is the whisperings of the Holy Spirit given through my soul. So when I look to the future what does the Spirit say: It says with great power to me these words: "My will is not to destroy, but to save . Go forward in the great work of the salvation of my sons and daughters. Give hope to the whole of the human race." What I receive is the opposite of what I hear from many Bible believers. They see God up there on his throne in a very agitated state because we have not gone through someone's interpretation of repentance. In many cases those who are preaching repentance to the world are the ones I greatest need of it. To see nothing but doom and gloom on the horizon feeds negative energy into a thoughtform that could bring on some type of mass destruction if enough energy were poured into it. What should we do then? Should we blissfully go aheadin denial of the dangers that face us? No, but neither should we allow the dangers to be our prime focus of attention. Make reasonable preparations for the dangers that face us, but focus on the positive. Let us not be like Jonah and sit back and wait for God to bring fire down on the wicked, but let us go forward with a true salvation and work to save the race of men and women from their lack of hope. If we bring them hope through the soul then they will look forward to a better world. Energy follows thought and if the mass of humanity hope for a better world then energy will be created that will make this happen. I liked Judes statement: "I do know.. that being in the software industry that the Y2K 'miracle' that we all witnessed[and some felt deceived that it was a hype] was a definite sign that humanity pulled together[kind of like the Apollo 13 mission] and saved the day. Just as humanity pulled together and prevented disaster through Y2K we can also pull together and guide humanity into the coming age of peace with a minimal of problems. I felt a strange feeling when we were watching TV on New Years Eve, and in time zone after time zone watched the peoples of the earth rejoice at the new millennium and the non effect of the Y2K bug. The people of the whole planet had heard all the doom predicted and when they saw with their own eyes that we had pulled together and solved the problem I sensed very strongly it gave them hope that we could also pull together as a human race and solve the greater problems pr the world that threaten us. Many people who believe in the pre-mortal existence of man think that he began his evolution as the lowest life forms, perhaps a worm, plant or even an atom, and eventually evolved to where he is today. But what is the real truth here? The answer I am going to guide you toward has not been explained by Blavatsky, Alice A. Bailey, the scriptures, Mormon writings or any other that I know about. We can discover this truth by the understanding of spiritual principles. Perhaps we should call this number 11 in our principles of discovery: (11) Truth is in harmony with spiritual principles; therefore discover that which is true through the application of those principles. What principle(s) can we apply to discover the truth of this great subject? Principle One: If a thing has a beginning it will have an end, but if there is no beginning there will be no end. The opposite is also true. If there is an end there was a beginning and there will be no end there had to be no beginning. This means that if there is a beginning to us as intelligent individual entities that there will be an end. If there is a beginning to eternal life then there will be an end. If there is a beginning to us being gods then there will be an end. I submit that that which you are never had a beginning in time and shall never have an end. As a human entity in a human body you are one of the reflections of God, or as the Aquarian Gospel tells it "one of the thoughts of God." Principle Two: A life whether it be an atom, a worm, a man or a planetary Spirit evolves to relative perfection within its sphere. When this relative perfection is reached its progression on an individual basis comes to and end, but it uses molecular principles (see the Molecular Relationship) to enter a path of higher evolution. Question: How can you apply these two principles in discovering the great mystery? If you were not once an animal or a plant what have you always been and will forever be? Each collective layer forms a body made of it's own etheric material, each has it's own radiations or aura.All seven bodies residing in the same "physical" space. I am One with our Creator, our Creator/us has always been. In the physical, plant life, animal life, human life, are all made from the dust of the ground (atoms changed and rearranged as needed). I operate, by choice, in this physical environment, but I am not mortal. I am a spark that is becoming that which I choose to become. Also, talking of creating better thought forms than the Fundamentalist Christian one etc. sounds great and is a better place to put one's energy, agreed. But this policy in no way counteracts the overall prophecy that the coming world dictator, the final Anti-Christ...'enter's peaceably'. He comes into power ON A PEACE PLATFORM. Deals are made with Israel to protect them and resolve the MidEast trouble, but after 3.5 years of "peace", the Beast powers turn on Israel and reveals his hidden agenda....etc.etc. Maybe this is a bad thought form, I"m just reporting what the prophecy is, not trying to support or deny it. Allan" Subject: A Great Mystery -- The Eternal Round of Evolution to Godhood The Great Mystery of all life can be metaphorically described by observing an individual life cycle, such as that of a human. Two adults come together in an act of love to combine an egg with a sperm. The single cell which begins the new life is not the beginning of that new individual, for the DNA existed in both parents, who got it from their parents, who got it from their parents, ad infinitum. Yet that new expression begins in the simplest form : a single cell, which then divides, and divides again, and again. As the divisions progress, differentiation begins to take place so that some portions begin to form one organ, while other portions begin to form another organ, until by the time the fetus is fully developed, a new child has been formed with all organs functional. Yet the child's birth is not the end, but its beginning, as it now grows from complete dependence upon its parental support to eventually becoming a parent itself, and repeating the cycle. In this analogy, we can compare the "adult" to what we call "God" in religion. He/she is the fully- developed guardian over our well-being as his children, and as his children we can grow to become as he/she is. But there is a broader term -- "human," in our analogy -- which corresponds to a "God-ness" that is in all things, for all things are God and make up God in this broad sense. The DNA of the Baby is essentially the same as the DNA in the parent. Even in the single cell state, that single cell has the same DNA as the DNA of the parents who created it. Everything is there, even though it is not yet fully expressed. And yet in that single cell state, it is "fully" expressed suitable to that particular stage of development. Those things requisite to a fullness in that phase are all present and functioning. In our analogy, the development from the stage of single cell to the fully developed fetus is comparable to the progression of an entity through the various life forms prior to human, from the simplest atom to the most advanced animal. Darwinists love to study the development of the embryo as it is a recapitulation of evolution, going from a single cell to a highly complex organism. The embryologist is quick to point out the astonishing similarities between the early embryonic development of animals, humans. On a cellular level, the function of a human cell is hardly different from that of plant cell or of a bacteria, or of an animal. Some DNA segments a hundred base-pairs long vary by but one base-pair between humans and peas, for example. The post-fetal state, from birth to adulthood, could be compared in this analogy to human existence when we, in the image of the fully-developed God, grow from complete dependence upon God to becoming even as he is -- a God ourselves, to create our own earth, and to people it with our own "children." Yet though the baby is in the image of the parent, so also is the embryo, even from its earliest state, technically, for that is what the parent once was, even though the early embryonic states do not resemble visually the developed human form. In this sense, the rocks and the plants and the insects and the birds and the beasts of the field have no more a "beginning" than God, for they with him are eternal, for they are all in various stages of the developmental process. Though an "individual" could be thought to have its beginning when the sperm from the father combines with the egg from the mother, yet it is not a beginning, for that sperm and that egg came from the parents, who received their DNA from their parents, ad infinitum. As for the various phases of emotional/spiritual development that the person passes through from the time of birth to the time of adulthood, I have embellished this theme at length in a book I wrote called "The Vision of All: Our Past, Present, and Future as Foretold in Book of Mormon History." In that book, I compare the timeline of the Lehite civilization with the timeline of the history/destiny of the Gentiles and the house of Israel. Then I take those "temporal" timelines and compare them to the "spiritual" timeline of an individual as he/she progresses through one lifetime. That makes up Part II of the book. This may be found online at http://www.greaterthings.com/Books/Vision We can look at the progression of man from the time he was in the garden of Eden to the present and even into the future and see spiritual parallels to an individual as he/she progresses through life, from ignorance to fully-developed spirituality. The pending coming of Christ to the world in glory, for example, is paralleled on an individual level when the individual -- whenever they live, whatever race they may be, whatever their sex -- comes into personal communion with Christ, walking and talking with God, standing as his emissary on earth. Every last person who resides in the New Jerusalem that will be build up here upon this earth will have arrived at this state personally. Everyone who now resides in the heavenly New Jerusalem has arrived at this state. We are close to that time when heaven and earth are going to come together, and the heavenly New Jerusalem is going to join the New Jerusalem that shall be built up here on earth. We are at that phase of history which is analogous on an individual level to when they marry and have children of their own. Eden was the innocent infant stage. Moses and the children of Israel represented the early childhood stage, when a heavy hand of leadership was required to tell the child everything they must do. The Diaspora, or scattering, was the teen age rebellion stage. The ensuing dark ages parallels all the reckless blackness that teenagers are capable of getting themselves into. The renaissance and age of enlightenment which brings us up to the present era represents the "coming to" or born again phase in which the individual comes to his/her senses and trusts in God, who blesses them with light and truth. The advanced college or university learning of early adulthood is likewise an advanced part of this phase and is certainly a fitting metaphor for the advances in science and civility that we have seen in the world in the past few centuries. On the eve of the millennium of peace, we are ready for the marriage of the bridegroom -- using this metaphor. Those who had been children are now becoming parents and ready to begin rearing a new generation, the millennium is the honeymoon. Following that will be the beginning of another cycle. The parents grow on to godhood, and the children begin in a new Eden, whether on this planet or on another that is created for them. In anticipating this marriage, the Savior presents us with a very compelling metaphor in his marriage to Mary Magdalene, who had been possessed of seven devils. She who had been so despised was purified by the Lord and made a worthy bride for Jesus. So also, the metaphorical bride (church and state that will become the kingdom of God on earth) is at present in need of purification, having been overrun by devils or corruption. These must be cast out, so to speak, and the bride purified, made ready for the marriage. That is where we are now. Time to purify. Time for the separation of the wheat and the tares. Time for the purification of the bride through the purging tribulations that will be shortly upon us. One final thought I would like to share in connection to this topic regards a metaphor found in contemplating the "evolution" of species. Regarding the Darwinian theory of evolution, I tend to believe a combination of creationism and evolution. There was indeed and Adam and Eve scenario which commenced the current human civilization. At the same time, the gamut of progression of species from one to the next is one that is impossible for the enlightened mind not to notice. There is a continuum of progression from the simplest life forms to the most complex, with humans being the most complex or advanced. What I hypothesize is that this current "batch" of people born during this cycle, starting with Adam and Eve in the garden and ending with the culmination we are now entering, are as a group at a certain level of development. Previous "batches" of which we were a part were not as advanced. I was about to reply to JJ's 'The Tenth Will Get You'... and an event changed everything. Because of the event itself (which is irrelevant), I made a particular choice, causing me to take 'quite a fall' in consciousness. When climbing a mountain, or the ladder of consciousness, a fall creates an extremely rapid descent! And to reclimb can be arduous, and filled with guilt. The one thought I chose, and expressed several times, which I had never felt before, caused such a plummet with such immediate and devastating results, that my mind went into shock. Within two hours I was extremely ill, something I have not been in years, many many years. For three days I was immovable, struggling to breathe, and unable to stay conscious in the physical for any real period of time. Imagine sleeping straight for 3 days!! (Especially me who sleeps so little normally!!) I was however, fully conscious inside. And my mind was stuck! Talk about holding one single thought for a long period of time... I could not make the mind contemplate long sentences, it simply would not move. For one long night I held onto one word, 'opposite'. I had misidentified with who and what I was through an 'inevitable' but seemingly 'untimely' event. At the door of choice to live or die, I saw how easy the choice for death is... the blame and guilt for a perceived 'wrong' decision. As I faced the door, my mind finally allowed one sentence: 'I am forgiven and born anew!' I never felt the presence of anyone, but did not feel alone or abandoned either. It was as though I just kept 'looking'. And when I found the forgiveness of myself, I was turned away from the door, my heart was singing the truth. By Saturday I could read all your wonderful messages... they made my heart sing too... and I was so happy they were not of great quantity and usually brief. I could then take these 'to bed with me' and be with each of you, through your thoughts. Some played in my mind for quite awhile, giving me greater insight. Marylin, the difficulty with the 'struggle to overcome the illusion of this world', is that the illusion gets created by our mind, when it chooses to identify with fear, judgment, guilt, pain, suffering and death, and most of all punishment... the outcome of guilt. When we instead choose to identify solely with who and what we are... Soul/Spirit/God we are identifying with heaven literally drawing it to earth... so that the passing away of the old heaven and earth... is because the real one comes, and what was not real is forgotten. The best demonstration of the true nature of God's reality is 'mother nature'. We have turned our minds into 'making an illusionary world' so that we do not actually see what is real, and become the true co-creators that we are, creating all things brand new! I hope that helps. And Sterling, it is important to remember that God is not religion. That is a practice of mankind, created as an initial stepping stone, training ground so to speak, that one may graduate from, and go on to higher and higher (more evolved) levels of understanding and consciousness. As a human being we have around 1000 lifetimes on earth. We have no beginning and no ending so we must have been something else before and will become something else later. On planet earth the evolution starts with an involution, a going down deeper and deeper into matter. That's what I think plants, animals etc. are doing. They are separating more and more from God. A human being is starting to go the other way - to unite more and more with other human beings until in the end we start forming molecules and grow more and more into oneness. How can this happen? As we have learned the soul is the connection between our higher self - the spirit - and the physical form. I think the soul is becoming just like everything else. So when we think about the animals they are on the separating line. They have a group soul - like a bucket of water. Every single animal is a drop of this water, and when they die they return to the bucket bringing all their experiences into it. Such a group soul might have a group of animals on earth at the same time. When animals evolve to their highest forms (like dogs, cats, etc) they one day reach the highest they can as animals and then the soul changes form a bucket of drops into just one soul - they get individualized - and reach the most separate form as souls: a human being. When humans have lived around the 1000 lifetimes and have reached the highest possible as individual souls, the souls actually gather together and become one, as in the molecular relationship. Because we are individualized we do not go back to being a drop in a bucket - we still have our own individualized experiences and consciousness but we perform like a bucket of water of our own free will. In this way you can say humans were never animals - because we got our own individualized soul when we became humans. But in another way Sterling is right because during the involution we went through the stage of animals. And this is probably just a very small part of becoming - I am sure we'll go through many more exciting changes somewhere else. JJ I have written quite a lot already on this subject, but I will add one more thing. Where there is not agreed upon measure for ultimate perfection what is called perfection is in the eye of the beholder. On the other hand there are many absolute perfections that can be agreed upon. For instance an absolutely perfect circle has all points on its circumference exactly the same distance from the center. But in physical reality there is no such thing as a perfect circle. There is not a planet in the universe with an exactly circular orbit. No one has ever created a perfect circle. What is the best we can hope for? The closest we can come to absolute perfection is relative perfection. In other words, we can create relatively perfect circles. Once relative perfection is reached in the world of form the intelligence behind its creation recognizes it and begins to duplicate this perfection. For instance, a proton is relatively perfect. These particles are not absolutely perfect because each proton has a very slight differentiation from all others. Because the intelligence behind the proton recognizes the relative perfection of this unit it has created these relatively perfect particles by the same principles everywhere in the universe. Humanity does the same thing as God does. When we reach relative perfection in creation others copy this perfection to the best of their ability. Our better bicycles, for instance, are made about as close to maximum efficiency as possible. As manufacturers approach relative perfection others follow. We will never create the perfect bicycle, but we will eventually get so close to perfection that it would be a waste of time to attempt any more improvement. This is what supreme intelligence has done with the proton. Perfection is so close that any more attention on improvement is not worth the effort. God's efforts are now much better spent working on humans. We are far from relative perfection on the physical plane. Concerning how we evolved and where we came from several gave interesting comments. The greater life comes from their combined DNA. As we combine DNA's we create out of the building blocks we all ready have. It as though we create the pattern and invite the particles to join themselves to it. The definition of synergism: cooperative action of discrete [individually distinct] agencies such that the total effect is greater than the sum of the effects taken independently. h2O still has three individual parts that are nameable and seeable but together they form something entirely unique to what they did apart. They are together by choice and intention and the energy created by that togetherness create the intended pattern. Evolve means to work out or develop or to unfold. So I think as humans we evolve (unfold our godhood) to a point where we acknowledge "We can decide what we are becoming" and then we create or bring into existence a new form by that decision and union with other gods. Zia: It would seem that if God was, is and will forever be, within all things, and that the added bonus of free will was implanted... this free will provided 'potentials in time to manifest'. Sort of like opening a treasure chest and selecting 'gifts' at different points in time. Irrelevant to God, but applicable through time and free will. It is as though specific thoughts become the selector to a specific gift.... the reward of right thinking... thus triggering the DNA to 'manifest' that gift into the form. Perhaps it is more true to say the form had to consult with the intelligence to gain the knowledge that would assist in triggering the gifts into form. From the perspective of God, it already is done, for the creation of all that will be is done, and is playing out in time. These illustrate the principle rather well, but may leave the reader to suppose that I think we are the rope or the hologram, which is not the case, as we are neither. Any THING, that we use to describe ourselves, can only represent an outward manifestation of what we really are. Now, I hit on an idea, that may just hit the nail on the head and is perfectly suited to the medium in which it is given, that being this very post that you are reading. For the purpose of this illustration, let us say, for the moment, that I, the writer, having thought on it and reflected on these thoughts, and know the exact answer to what it is that we really are. So, I sit down and type out this document, you see before you and, again, for the purpose of this illustration, let us assume that, within the limitations of this media, I have given the complete answer. The limitations include; I am limited to expressing the idea using black marks on a white background, I have only 26 letters and 10 numbers to type with, am speaking in English and am leaving some thoughts unwritten, with the expectation that most will be able to "read between the lines". Never the less, you have before you a manifestation of the complete thought. The thought is not the words or the computer monitor or the paper and ink which are used to convey the thought. One page or a thousand, the entire document expresses the thought, but so too does each paragraph, sentence, word, letter and punctuation mark, even the individual microscopic drops of ink, a whole sea of which are needed in the printing of even one small period, at the end of this sentence. Each of the elements explains the thought, but with progressively less clarity as the size diminishes. If you read the whole document, you will know exactly what the thought is. If you read only a paragraph, you could still deduce the thought. If you were a master of reading between the lines, you might even be able to understand the entire thought from a single punctuation mark. For most of us, though, the rule will be that the more we read, the better we will know the thought. The parts of the document are not the thought. The thought goes into each of the parts, all at the same time. It matters not if you start at the beginning and read to the end or jump back and forth, from one part to another. The one thought is contained in every part. You find the thought at the start and again at the end, so you might say the thought is in there twice, but it is still only one thought. The illusion of there being multiple thoughts comes from putting the attention on the parts, instead of the whole. The, so called, "Fall of Man" comes about from the attention becoming fixated on the parts and thinking they are THE thought, instead of them being one part of the way the thought is expressed. The reality is that each and every life form, regardless of size, is THE ONE THOUGHT. We think of ourselves as being separate because we mistakenly think that we are what we have focused our attention on. There is only ONE GOD and we are all it. How would we continue "becoming", after reaching relative perfection? Well, I could say that this document was relatively perfect, in telling what it is that we really are, but I could make it better and clearer. I stayed home from work today, with flu like symptoms. I would sleep for a while, get up, write a few more lines, then go lie down again. Had I written the same article, without fever in my brain, on a day of vacation, with no distractions, it might have told the story even better. If I didn't have to do the 9-5 thing, to get by and spent six months on the keyboard, I could write a whole book on the subject. Or, I could spend a life time and fill bookshelves. The THOUGHT is infinite and eternal. God uses the entire universe to express it and is still "becoming". That leaves plenty yet to do, even after "relative perfection". It was quite accurate in describing what we are in relation to the seven planes. What we are looking for here is the explanation of the missing link, so to speak in evolution. When there is progression from one kingdom to another there is a quantum leap. For instance, an atom to a plant, a plant to an animal, an animal to a human and human to a member of the God Kingdom. Let me give you a logical reason why the progression is something far different than the mere evolution of an individual life. In your body there are trillions of atoms to compose your one physical life. If each of these evolved into human form the universe would have to expand an unreasonable amount to accommodate all the new humans. Instead the greater life is created without the loss of the identity of the atom. As was written in the Molecular Relationship atoms create molecules, molecules create cells and cells create plants and so on the progression goes. There is an understanding that I am looking for about how this higher life is manifested, where it comes from and how it comes. Hint: Technically the greater life is not created. It is manifested. I hope all is well with you as it is supposed to be despite whatever has happened, is happening and will happen. Creation belongs in the involutional arc. In the beginningless beginning there is one God who looking at self, which we attribute to the act of mind, sees limitless possibilities. This ideation of mind results in limitless number of life forms, which we refer to as creation of the universe. What happens is that spirit involves in matter resulting in appearing of all possible forms permeated with consciousness. Time is not involved in the process of creation or involution. And time is not involved in the process of evolution either. While involving in matter spirit evolves from matter. Spirit is being freed from matter as consciousness conglomerates; consciousness conglomerates as forms are being transformed from lower to higher levels of perfection or wholeness. Gradation is possible because the whole process is cyclic. The process of involution-evolution is endless and there is no life form developed in the evolutional arc that is higher than the envisioned potentiality in the mind of God. One definition of evolution given by Alice Bailey is that it is an unfolding of a continually increasing power to respond to vibration. If we recall the first few chapters of the Molecular Relationship we see that in the beginning the first vibration was created (comprising love and light) and this vibration stepped down through the seven planes or worlds becoming denser and less like the original vibration as it moved 'downwards'. But it still encompassed within itself the higher vibrations. So, the reality of recognizing itself as existing takes place, within the realm of timelessness. Now, each of these little eddies is an exact miniature of the first consciousness and as such could be called a son of God, but we are here dealing with the smallest of lives, called Quarks. Now clearly, there are many larger life forms populating the universe, so how do they come about, you may ask. Referring back to Genesis, we see that God continues to pour energy into creation and "gathers the waters in one place" To explain this gathering process, I am switching to another analogy, still using spinning things, but replacing whirlpools with rubber band powered airplanes. I'll even attempt to illustrate this, using text to draw a series of pictures. Now, boys are more likely to have played with these toy airplanes, but anyone can gather the elements talked of and build a device which could be used to view the principles being illustrated. For the girls, or anyone with long hair or other suitable material, the same principle can be demonstrated by twisting a lock of hair. I've done a search through the archives and here they are. I started my group several months ago and have probably made every mistake possible as I've sought to come up with the right formula. I've learnt that it's not an easy task; that you have to deal with not only your own negative pulls, including feelings of inadequacy, but also the negative pulls of the participants. But it's an enormously rewarding work and helping people seek the Truth is one of the best services one can perform. The NZ situation may be different to that in other countries but I have found that there are a great many ordinary seekers who have a strong desire to meet with people who are like-minded but who are also tolerant of diversity of beliefs and attitudes. These are people who don't fit into traditional church or new age groups because of the extremes of dogmatism that both can display. I make it a prerequisite that people have to read Book One before they join the group, if only to set the scene. The meetings have a set, but relaxed format. If I can be of any assistance to anyone wanting to start a group, in terms of pointing out potential pitfalls, devising ads, defining study topics and materials, do feel free to contact me. I'm looking forward to the day when there are Synthesis Groups springing up everywhere and people are clamoring to join them. My dream for myself is that my group reproduces itself very quickly and then I can retire into obscurity which is my natural habitat. But until then, there's lots of work to be done. Amenhotep III is deceased when the above inscriptions were made, therefore Akhenaten must be the intended husband of Tiye, and father of Beketaten and of the heirs Semenkhare and Tutankhamun. Velikovsky documented in Oedipus and Akhenaten that a child born from a son and a mother was considered particularly holy in certain royal courts of the ancient Near East, but may not have been acceptable in Egypt. Velikovsky also notes (p. 62) that the god Amun (Amen) was revered as the "King of the Gods" in Egypt, and elsewhere in ancient times as Jupiter. Other names of this god were Zeus in Greece, Marduk in Babylon, and Mazda in Persia. Velikovsky further notes that the historian "Catullus stated that a magus (a Mazda priest) is the fruit of incestuous relations between mother and son (Catullus, xc. 3)." "Observance of it [incest, especially between son and mother] is one of the surest signs of piety in the coming days of evil ; it expatiates mortal sin and forms the one insuperable barrier to the attacks of Aeshm, the incarnation of Fury (Sayast la Sayast, VIII. 18; XVIII, 3f.)" The liaison between Tiye and Akhenaten was not necessary to ensure kingly succession. The heirs Akhenaten and Nefertiti were still young and capable of carrying on the line. Amenhotep III had set up over 700 statues of Sekhmet the goddess of pestilence in order to ward off a mounting plague. The marriage of Tiye and Akhenaten was evidently ordained for that exact same purpose. Both sons would ultimately undertake ministries of restoration and reconciliation in a divided and "plague and pyre" ravaged Egypt. Their tragic deaths, and especially that of the younger Tutankhamun, were later considered to have the power to expatiate the sins of the world. Note 1: "Ya" is an abbreviated form of Yuya's name, which was inscribed on his coffin in his Valley of the Kings tomb, and points to his patron god, Yahweh/Jehovah. In Ahmed Osman's 1987 book Stranger in the Valley of the Kings this highest ranking official in Egypt, Yuya, is strongly associated with the Biblical Joseph. In the Bible, the story of Moses immediately follows that of Joseph. However, it is commonly believed that there was a lengthy time period between Joseph and Moses. Archaeology now proves that there was not a gap between Joseph and Moses, and that Moses was actually the son of Joseph. If Joseph (Yuya) is followed directly by Moses (Akhenaten), then this confirms that Moses was in the fourth generation from Abraham (i.e., Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses), during which the Exodus is said to have taken place. Osman also points out in Moses: Pharaoh of Egypt that Akhenaten acknowledged "Imram" in the cartouche of his god and father the Aten (Heb. Adonai). Biblical Moses is said to be the son of "Amram," the Hebrew equivalent. The four generation sequence of Levi, Kohath, Amram, Moses is identical to that of Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses. The Levi of this lineage would then not be the third son of Jacob as commonly presumed, but another pseudonym of Thutmose III. This Levi (meaning "attached") is in fact one and the same as Isaac who was the legal son of Abram, natural son of Thutmose I, and "adopted/attached" son of Thutmose II. Kohath is another pseudonym for Amenhotep II, and Amram is Yuya. Note 2: One of three individuals in Akhenaten=92s court may have been the Biblical Aaron. Meryre I was High Priest of Aten, Meryre II was Overseer of the Royal Harem, and a Merayu was lector-priest (orator) and steward. There is also a Biblical Merari, who was a contemporary of Moses. The son of Aanen by the name of Meryre may have used the nickname Aaron to avoid confusion with the other prominent Meryre. This nickname also relates him strongly to Aanen. All around us there are examples of places where life shouldn't exist and yet there it is. On the ocean floor where volcanoes are spewing poisonous gas and what not into the water, and the water is heated to seemingly inhospitable levels, and the water pressure would crush a man in a second there's fish, crustaceans, and a whole bunch of other moving things that defy imagining. There are also organisms living in other places with opposite extreme environments. My point is that if the conditions for it come together Life punches through. I don't know why, but for some reason Life desperately wants to live. Why do babies take their first breath soon after birth? If all the tiny lives in the body of the baby are doing what they're supposed to be doing, the conditions are ripe and Life can't be held back. The life of the baby manifests and it takes its first breath as a life-form higher than all the cells, molecules, and atoms which make it up. I find it difficult to imagine, though, a group of people coming together and Life manifesting among them. The spirals are made up of smaller spirals, which are in turn made from still smaller spirals, much like my rubber band analogy. What I am suggesting is that when enough energy is put into a given collection of lives, they suddenly snap into a new configuration, which looks just like the one in the picture, only larger. The original lives are still there, but they now form a "new" bigger life, following a matrix or pattern that works on all the scales. No new material is added in the creation of this new life.
