1999 - WEEK 1 Post No. keys-l: /1999-01-01/2017 From: Glenys Lowery Subject: Re: Approaching the Soul J J Dewey wrote: "There are hundreds of tiny steps before a major step is taken toward soul contact and we shall cover the milestones as we progress. There were some great posts about the first step that I hope to comment on soon, but let me give you one more hint to consider before I sign off." "Review in your mind our study of the Beast and a major step toward the soul should come to your consciousness." Ok JJ, I'll have a go. We know that for those controlled by the Beast via the solar plexus, illusion prevails until the higher, positive energies of the solar plexus point us towards the heart centre. As this opens there is the beginning of an awareness of Christ Consciousness. We also know that those who look outside of themselves for authority have the name of the Beast. But as we learn to look within ourselves for Truth, we activate the name of the Father in our foreheads. This gives us (the TV to use JJ's analogy) access to the transmitting station (of Spirit) and enables us to receive programmes (the soul). True soul contact can only take place when the mark of the Beast is replaced by the seal of the Father on our foreheads and when we look to ourselves and no one else for the ultimate truth and authority in our lives. From ignorance to recognition. ~ Anthony De Mello Post No. keys-l: /1999-01-01/2018 From: J J Dewey Subject: Work Work Work My friends. You have written so much food for thought the past couple days I hardly know where to begin. I know I can't cover everything, but will write about what comes. If I miss a point you wish to be covered by me please let me know. Tracy's words come to mind about the difficulty of seeking God and the frustration of being trapped in a job you don't like. I'm sure few of us on this list are working at our number one choice (which would probably be being paid for writing postings for this list), but we have found that most have to do quite a lot of "regular" work just to make a living. Xavier gave some great feedback to her but I also found the following chapter from The Aquarian Gospel very inspiring on this subject. Let me quote. IN silent meditation Jesus sat beside a flowing spring. It was a holy day, and many people of the servant caste were near the place. 2 And Jesus saw the hard drawn lines of toil on every brow, in every hand. There was no look of joy in any face. Not one of all the group could think of anything but toil. 3 And Jesus spoke to one and said, Why are you all so sad? Have you no happiness in life? 4 The man replied, We scarcely know the meaning of that word. We toil to live, and hope for nothing else but toil, and bless the day when we can cease our toil and lay us down to rest in Buddha's city of the dead. 5 And Jesus' heart was stirred with pity and with love for these poor toilers, and he said, 6 Toil should not make a person sad; men should be happiest when they toil. When hope and love are back of toil, then all of life is filled with joy and peace, and this is heaven. Do you not know that such a heaven is for you? 7 The man replied, Of heaven we have heard; but then it is so far away, and we must live so many lives before we can reach that place! 8 And Jesus said, My brother, man, your thoughts are wrong; your heaven is not far away; and it is not a place of metes and bounds, is not a country to be reached; it is a state of mind. 9 God never made a heaven for man; he never made a hell; we are creators and we make our own. 10 Now, cease to seek for heaven in the sky; just open up the windows of the hearts, and, like a flood of light, a heaven will come and bring a boundless joy; then toil will be no cruel task. 11 The people were amazed, and gathered close to hear this strange young master speak, 12 Imploring him to tell them more about the Father-God; about the heaven that men can make on earth; about the boundless joy. 13 And Jesus spoke a parable; he said, A certain man possessed a field; the soil was hard and poor. 14 By constant toil he scarcely could provide enough of food to keep his family from want. 15 One day a miner who could see beneath the soil, in passing on his way, saw this poor man and his unfruitful field. 16 He called the weary toiler and he said, My brother, know you not that just below the surface of your barren field rich treasures lie concealed? 17 You plough and sow and reap in scanty way, and day by day you tread upon a mine of gold and precious stones. 18 This wealth lies not upon the surface of the ground; but if you will dig away the rocky soil, and delve down deep into the earth, you need no longer till the soil for naught. 19 The man believed. The miner surely knows; he said, and I will find the treasures hidden in my field. 20 And then he dug away the rocky soil, and deep down in the earth he found a mine of gold. 21 And Jesus said, The sons of men are toiling hard on desert plains, and burning sands and rocky soils; are doing what there fathers did, not dreaming they can do aught else. 22 Behold, a master comes, and tells them of a hidden wealth; that underneath the rocky soil of carnal things are treasures that no man can count; 23 That in the heart the richest gems abound; that he who wills may open the door and find them all. 24 And then the people said, Make known to us the way that we may find the wealth that lies within the heart. 25 And Jesus opened up the way; the toilers saw another side of life, and toil became a joy. I may say something that will inspire some, then Xavier or Glenys may state their views and give an insight that was completely missing in my writings. Then Rick or someone else may give an experience that brings the concept down to earth for others. I am pleased rather than ego-threatened that you find much inspiration in writings other than my own. And I am doubly pleased that most of us find almost all the writings of all sincere participants inspiring and helpful. I'd be willing to bet that we have the highest quality postings on the whole web. Now if I was a representative of the beast I would only want my writings to be extolled and if I saw that someone else was getting some praise I would subtly undermine them and let the group know that only I can be trusted as being trustworthy. The truth is you can only trust me or anyone else to the extent that the words make sense and are verified by the soul within. I know that many of you have felt my words speak to your soul and that pleases me beyond measure, but I also know that you have felt the words of many others in the group speak to you. This forum will never be a competition to see who's the best. If there is any competition at all it will be who can learn and benefit the most from the good presented by the whole. Post No. keys-l: /1999-01-01/2019 From: J J Dewey Subject: Questions Let me make a few more comments on the progression of animals as I feel my comments are not fully understood by all. The basic difference between animals and humans is that human beings are self aware and animals are not. The state were Adam was in the garden of Eden and knew not that he was naked is a description of the consciousness of the animal-human before he passed completely out of the animal kingdom." To create a self conscious human being takes a fusion of millions of lesser lives. Among these lives are a number from the animal kingdom. Because the leap from one kingdom to another is so great it always involves the intelligent coordination and cooperation of multiple lives. Humans cannot enter the kingdom of God alone, but must do so through group effort. The same went for animals when they moved into the human kingdom beginning in early Lemurian days about 18 million years ago. During a long period covering millions of years all the animals who were evolved enough to make the jump moved into the human kingdom. The rest stayed behind to go through a cycle of growth and be stimulated by humans in preparation for a future round when the door would open again. One of the things we do to prepare animals for their future leap into the human kingdom is to take them as pets. As our pets they live with us in our homes and observe us and begin to feel like one of the family and the more advanced animals will often begin to see themselves as an extension of his human home.. The members of the God kingdom used a similar stimulation with the human kingdom during the days of Atlantis. Many of them walked freely among us "pet" humans and some people had very close relationships with these higher lives to the extent that some teachers of the human family began to see themselves as part of the family of God and a few made the leap into this next kingdom, the Kingdom of God. The Brotherhood have revealed that the door is now open for humans to move into the God kingdom, but that does not mean the door is permanently closed to animals moving into the human. They will make the leap again when their numbers are sufficiently prepared. When a human moves from the human kingdom to the kingdom of God generally the advanced animal lives within him will move along with him. These lives will now have all the good that is the animal consciousness, sharing in the human consciousness and now sharing in the God consciousness. James mentioned his Native American heritage. It is interesting that some of the ancient Indian healing techniques involved the recognition and calling forth of the animal lives within ourselves. The basic idea was the calling forth of the bear, the eagle, the lion or other animal for his help in dealing with a medical or some other problem. This truth is also part of the hidden meaning behind the tribal naming of children after animal behaviors, such as Running Bear, Sly Fox etc. They had an unconscious recognition and identification of the animal lives within us. Do animals have souls? Spirit and matter interplay through soul in all things here on earth in all kingdoms. Animals have soul, but do not have individual consciousness as do humans, but are preparing for it and some of the advanced animals have a sense of human consciousness just as advanced humans have a sense of God consciousness. Every life form in the universe is eternal and will have no end including the animals. All will BECOME within their own sphere and eventually enlarge their consciousness to include greater lives, but the essence that makes each reflection that God has made cannot be destroyed but will reappear in different situations and forms again and again worlds without end. Will clones have souls? Yes most of them will be quite normal and each clone will have similarities to the original, but will be it's own person. Two clones will be similar in vibration to identical twins. Advanced entities will rarely take a cloned body, however, because an advanced soul needs a body of his own creation to fulfill higher purpose. Even a computer, if advanced enough, could draw a self conscious entity to possess it and the giving birth to a living computer or some type of living android (something like Data from Star Trek) is an event that will happen some day in the future. How far away this is I cannot say. Are their soulless people? Yes and no. The committed Dark Brothers completely deny the soul energy and as such construct a firm barrier that separates them from the world of Spirit. The soul is still there, but their consciousness cannot connect with it so they appear to be soulless, but such appearance is an illusion. The illusionary soulless person they have created will disintegrate and even the Dark Brother will be created anew several billion years hence. Most people that you may think to be soulless has not been completely severed but is probably just on a detoured path for a few lives. One of the great things about this list is the lack of competition and respect Keysters have for each other's points of views, whether or not we totally agree with them. I haven't even noticed the occasional sexism mentioned by others. What I have noticed is the wonderful unity in diversity that's displayed. If we as individuals do evolve as part of a group, I couldn't think of a better bunch to be with. Thanks too, JJ, for the excerpt from the Aquarian Gospel. It was most uplifting to be reminded that we create our own heaven and hell and there is always treasure if we but dig deep enough. Speaking of being uplifted, I'm still reveling in the joy of your Message of Hope email of a few days ago. No one is more surprised than me at my reaction to it as I'm a 'hopeful' sort of person anyway. Maybe I needed a top up :) Love Glenys -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- It is not the fall that kills you. Worth is supposed to be my lucky place on the planet, I'll go for that! Belle Post No. keys-l: /1999-01-01/2028 From: Iris Snorradottir Subject: Re: Soul Contact Hi Lelona. I have had soul experiences, some that I will never forget as long as I live and others that bring me back home, if I for some reason wander of. All soul experiences are like a divine gift. I believe that I had my first experience with the inner world when I was 6 years old. It was Christmas Day and I was dying on a operating table, at a critical point in this operation I was lifted out of my body and this beautiful divine being held me in its arms and I watched the operation from the safety of this beings arms, I heard the doctors say that there was no way that I was going to survive this ordeal. When the operation was over I was put back into my body, and some hours later I woke up and I was sitting up the next day. The doctors called me a miracle child and they almost lost their faces when I recovered so quickly. A part of me has always know that if this being had not taken me at that time, I would have died. I would rather say that soul experiences are God experiences. It is God's grace and love that makes that thunderbolt. The energy that fills ones entire being is indescribable, it's the greatest love, grace, gratitude beyond words, bliss and probably the greatest and longest orgasm one can experience:) I've had an experience where I couldn't tell the difference between the floor and my feet, my body and the chair I was sitting in, I couldn't feel my body and I could move my body for almost 3 hours, that's when I realized that I was not the body, if I expanded out of the body, I couldn't move it, it was like it didn't exist. It was a total surrender, total trust in God. 1 1/2 hours or so into the experience, I sensed the energy getting more powerful at the base of my spine, it was almost on fire, then this energy shot up my spine in a twirling way, it reached my neck, my head was pulled back and I could in no way move it back up, for a long time I cried, almost screamed from pain as the energy broke it's way through blockages, then it shot through my 3rd eye and it filled my head, I thought my head was going to lift of my body, it felt so light. I was told to surrender to this experience and allow the Kundalini energy do what it does. That's when it was awakened. This experience lasted over 8 hours, thankfully it happened during the night. As I travel on my path, I have come to understand so many things that I haven't understood before, things that I hadn't imagined are being shown to me. One of the most important things that I have learned is that nobody can set us free but ourselves. Others can help us, but we are the ones who have to work through our problems, we have to want the freedom, nobody can do that for us. If you truly want freedom/liberation and you feel it intensely in your heart, God will bring up all the things that are holding you from it and He will give you the strength you need to work through those problems. For me "Liberation" means freedom from mind, ego and destructive behaviors. It is the sweet freedom from a past that almost killed me, from fears that have held me back, kept me from really living. I finally got the courage to dig myself out of that deep hole that I was stuck in, or so my mind thought. I found peace, unity and love in my heart. Life is so much simpler when my mind doesn't control it anymore Another important lesson I've learned is that I will never be separate from God, God is in my heart, in my soul and in my entire being on every level of existence. Just like God is in all of you and everybody else and it doesn't matter if a person is on a spiritual path or not, He does not discriminate or chose only a certain few, everybody is equal to God. There is divinity in all of us, some just realize it and some don't. I don't think that one can attain true knowledge by reading books. That is other people's knowledge and wisdom. It may be true, it may not, it can be hard to tell. True knowledge is what we attain when we listen to our Self. There is a ocean waster than anything there is and it contains all the knowledge and wisdom the spirit world has to offer and that is limitless, why not jump in and float on your back and see what comes to you:) Love and light Iris Post No. keys-l: /1999-01-01/2029 From: Iris Snorradottir Subject: Re: Soul Contact [Editors note: Duplicate of Post No. 2028] Post No. keys-l: /1999-01-01/2030 From: b morgan Subject: Re: off-topic? Thank you for the quote from The Aquarian Gospel - I have a well-worn tattered copy that was given to my late husband & me back in 1973 by a dear friend - we read & poured over it for many years and gained much insight from it, and I still read it and find things that I overlooked before. I highly recommend it, especially for the beginning seeker, but for the more experienced ones also. The words in it really speak to the heart and you instinctively KNOW the truths that were conveyed to Levi, much the same as the truths in the Immortal are conveyed to you by John. Well, I was in Sedona in June too, one week, third week of the month, the one ending with summer solstice :) I/we too experienced many strange but important things. Sometimes I would have strong positive reaction and feeling near one of the vortices (actually the whole town felt like one giant vortex to me:), and Terri would have a sensation of same magnitude but on the different end of the scale. Or the other way around. Airport vortex was such place. I loved it, I just wanted to close my eyes and drift away. Thumbs high up in the air for me, thumbs down for Terri for that Mesa. They say that it's because some vortices are more electrically charged, as some have more of a magnetic pull. I can't back that up, but there sure were differences. We both loved Boynton Canyon :) Meditated and recalled some past lives we share. The rattlesnake that was crossing the path we were on must have loved that Canyon too :) I am glad they do that rattling warning sound, were it not for that we would have quite likely stepped right on that critter, it was right behind a bush and we couldn't see it where we were coming from. Man, it was pretty close. The pic of 'aqua aura Terri' (that's actually a crystal she's holding in her hand greeting me:) on my web page was taken just a few minutes after the 'encounter' :) Sedona has so many sides to it. It is a little sad to see the commercial side becoming so huge. But don't let that fool ya, the energies they talk about, my experience was that they definitely exist and are incredibly strong. Our population is only a little over 5 million, and there are something like 2.6 million cell phones in this country. I know, totally crazy :) Don't ask me how we've come to this, I have no idea :) When I was at the DFW airport that was mentioned earlier, I once heard a cell phone ringing right behind me. Turned to look, and saw this guy holding a Nokia phone. Suddenly it's heard. Can we begin in this list? I was thinking of yesterday's activity, and it was pretty much equal between male and female, post-wise. Can we at least recognize it in this list? It's here. Call it a mark of the beast if necessary, to get rid of it with us. Just recognize that it's happening here too, please." Abba Eban: "History teaches us that men and nations behave wisely once they have exhausted all other alternatives." Ok, there I did it :) Well, let me start by saying, every single person should be treated equally, no matter what outer differences there might be. Inside, we all carry a heart, and in the heart of heart's, we are all children of One. It is very wrong and I think whoever is doing this should be very ashamed for doing so, to pay smaller salaries to women compared to men for the same job, or women paying more for car repair than men, like you mentioned having heard. If a woman is treated disrespectfully because of her gender, this is something that is absolutely out of the question. So is belittling anybody because of anything based on who they appear to be in the mind of the 'oppressor'. Everyday I remind myself, I am not above or below anybody. I honestly believe that no matter if I were male or female in this lifetime, I still would work for equality like I do now. I know I have a lot of female/yin in me, and it's a great gift for man. I believe that in the past I have both been the belittled woman and the sexist man, because I can see both sides, and I can imagine myself in both positions. Sometimes I feel like I come from a different planet when I experience the so called 'man's world' everyday. In a way, I almost feel like I have sneaked in the enemy's camp and try to make a difference from the inside, heheheeee :) Of course, 'enemy' is a very inappropriate word to use there. The only enemy we may face is the unexplored parts within. That's where fear originates from, not knowing yourself. Both men and women have sides they are naturally more gravitated towards mastering, on the average. But the idea is not to fight each other and claim independency, where would that lead? 2 races, man and woman? And how would they procreate? This is why I don't understand some of the feminist ideas, because from what I hear in their words, they are trying to achieve some sort of balance between sexes using the same weapon men have been using for a long time, saying there is you and us, and *we* are superior. Come on. And I do understand some women's anger, men have been giving you crap for much too long of a time, and it is time to make a change in this, definitely. But please keep in mind, those who are women in this lifetime, might have been the sexist or whatever men in the past. There are always two sides to this, and eventually we are both parties. Those women who feel strongly and get very emotional about men who think they are 'it' here and now, might feel that way because they see a reflection of their past self. Regardless if this is the case or, whether we are men or women, we are to work for balance inside, as well as outside, between the genders. I believe that is a key to open the door to Big Things that each and every one of us have inside :) Being a man, I know exactly how most men's minds work. I know what kinds of thoughts cross men's minds when they turn to look at a beautiful woman. And of course, there's nothing wrong with that. There is and always will be, thank God, a pull between sexes. It is that small difference, the duality, the facing and completing equal partners that were separated in the beginning and thanks to them we are here and now. If you think about YHVH, positive meeting negative and out of this intercourse new life being created, you'll soon realize that One is a sexual being. It is just not sex as we are used to think of the word. I think it is such a sad thing how human sexuality is by large thought of as something dirty, and is for many people so centered around lower chakras, having a self-satisfying focus, and is so often more lust than true selfless labor of love :) Then again, I am sure that people on this list can relate to what I'm talking about, but probably do not identify with it :) Sex is a beautiful divine thing if approached selflessly. I was once thinking, does man need a proof of God existing? Don't we have one already? :) Again, I hope nobody is offended by my words. I just really think it is time to stop feeling uncomfortable with being who were created as. Time to get rid of those old taboos, be open, be ourselves. Also, when I was reading Xavier's post regarding sexism, I had one of those 'you go bro' moments, because I could feel how honestly Xavier was expressing his true feelings on this subject. Unless you're clear about where you are now, you can't use your compass to decide to get anywhere else either :) If there is something that really makes me mad in this world, it's gotta be people who think that they are somehow better than others, be it based on their status in society or whatever. I guess I feel strongly about what I am writing in this letter, but hey, I too have a flame of passion burning inside of me :) After this long rambling introduction, finally :) I am not sure exactly what kind of messages you have found containing 'the mark of the beast' here on this list, dear dudette LeLona :D If there really have been such posts, I haven't noticed them. On the other hand, I sometimes make remarks that can be read in so many ways. I never mean to offend anybody. It's just the way I am, I always see humor everywhere, and I even make fun of myself all the time, but it's not the belittling kind, it is just keeping things light and realizing that hey, I am not the most important person in the world. I don't know, sometimes when we look around, we see what we expect to see or what we hope to see or what we are scared to see. And still, it's the same world we are all living in :) I guess I just wanna say have fun, don't hurt nobody, explore and discover, always be respectful and let everybody else do these things their own way. That's what I try to do :) Make your own list, think about something that would be for the best of all and please you most, and go in that direction. We shall all meet there, one day :) I gotta get some sleep now, it is 3:50 am here :) Good night Ladies and Gentlemen. Love to you sherry Post No. keys-l: /1999-01-02/2060 From: J J Dewey Subject: The Dragon of Authority New Years Day! And the best part is that I have the day off to kick off my shoes and do anything I want. Maybe I can be awake enough here to keep the typos out of my writing since I have the luxury today of writing in the middle of the day rather than late at night. The Question... What is the first major step toward soul contact? The answer is somewhat of a judgment call and I would say that some of the answers given could be argued as being the major one. Let me briefly cover several. (1) Making a decision to seek or BECOME. This can be major except there are some who seek for a short time and then quit and then go into limbo for a few lifetimes. This then becomes the major step that was not taken. If the seeking attitude and the Decision to do so is maintained then that is a major event in the life of the soul. (2) Awareness, recognition that there is something out there beyond the physical - looking for it - looking within. (3) A point of crisis in our lives causing us to reflect. (4) Observing ourselves with detachment. (5) Finding a true spiritual teacher who has himself received soul contact. All of these are good points and we may expand on them later, but I want to cover an important step which occurs as the mark of the beast is replaced by the name of the Father. What makes this possible? Glenys writes: "True soul contact can only take place when the mark of the Beast is replaced by the seal of the Father on our foreheads and when we look to ourselves and no one else for the ultimate truth and authority in our lives." She is heading us the right direction here, but I would reword her statement to "within ourselves" rather than "to ourselves." If looking to ourselves leads us to the Ego then we only have an illusion of being free from the beast, as the ego is part of his realm. Semantics is involved here because if we find and look to our true self who is one with God then the mission is accomplished. But the safer wording for the seeker, who has not yet found, is the direction to look within - implying that something will be found that has not been discovered before. If you look within and find that still small voice then you shall have to slay the dragon who gives authority to the beast. You will not have to look for the dragon for he will come after you in a myriad of ways and his approach will always be sensed. At this point you have two choices. (1) Fear the dragon and let him immobilize or slay you. (2) Face the dragon and slay him. Then even if you face the dragon and seem to slay him you may discover you have just wounded a head which is healed and have to slay him again until the body of the dragon is "cast alive into a lake of fire and brimstone." Rev 20:20. The fire of the Holy Spirit from God finally consumes the dragon and at last you are able to maintain your focus on the name of the Father in the forehead. The sign that you have taken your first great step is when you show a willingness to act on a true message from within in defiance to all the clamoring messages from without in the face of risk of life, reputation, eternal damnation or loss. Notice I say "true message?" There are many who believe they have received a true message from the soul when in reality their action can be traced to the blind following of a guru, religious leader, book or the ego pretending to be the soul. The subtle difference is this: He who still has the mark of the beast will either be enhancing someone else's ego or his own, whereas he who follows the soul will always feel humbled by it. Perhaps a personal story here will help. When I was around sixteen I started reading the scriptures for the first time and as I read I began to wonder why there are not miracles today, as there seemed to be in abundance in ancient times. The church I attended rambled on about miracles a lot, but I hadn't ever actually seen one or met anyone who had faith to perform one. Then one day I was walking home from school and passed by a fellow student's home that had been stricken with an incurable disease (multiple sclerosis). I stopped a second and looked in her direction. I was saddened as I watched her hobble around in her yard on crutches, barely able to move from one location to another, and in my mind I reflected back to how she was just a short period hence - healthy and vibrant with a whole life in front of her. Then a thought occurred to me. "What is preventing me, even at this moment, from stretching forth my hand and commanding in the name of Jesus Christ for her to be healed, even as did the prophets of old?" This was an exciting thought for me to have at that young age, but as it ran through my mind a great cloud from the dragon descended upon me and another thought came: "Don't you know that no one of your age has this type of authority? The leaders in the church have told you that you have to have authority from the church to heal, and you do not have it. God would be displeased with you or maybe even curse you if you should attempt to use power that doesn't belong to you." This thought brought me great disappointment and overwhelmed me with discouragement for a moment, but before I moved on I looked again in the direction of my friend as she hobbled along to another location in the yard. Then another thought came to my mind from the still small voice. It said: "Whatsoever you ask in the name of Christ shall be done for you." This statement seemed to reflect the essence of what I had been reading in the scriptures and again I took courage and reconsidered that I could be an instrument of healing. But as soon as I reflected upon this, the voice of the dragon again spoke: "Who do you think you are? You're just a kid! Even the adults who are faithful in the church and are authorized by church leaders can't do a miracle such as you are thinking. God will probably strike you dead for even trying to go against established rules. And besides, this girl is not even a member of the church and is not to be included in church blessings." This decree of darkness caused me to fear. Would I truly offend God by using this power that may not belong to me? No one in my family, church or angel from heaven had ever given me authority to do miracles. Perhaps I would anger God by going out of my bounds and put my very soul at risk... As I thus reflected and stood in silence for a moment my attention went back again to the still small voice: "Whatsoever you ask in the name of Christ shall be done for you." I considered this statement and asked myself: "Do these words have any limitations to them? I am not being told that I can ask for a miracle only if I am an adult, or only if I have a position in the church, or even if I am perfect? The words of the soul that I had received merely told me that I could ask and it would be done. Then for a period of about a minute (which seemed like an hour) my mind went back and forth between the two polarities: Play it safe and do not attempt to heal. If God really wants her healed He'll do it without me. Put my soul at great risk and trust the words of the inner voice which may just be my imagination. Unknown to me at the time the real risk was trusting the dragon rather than the soul but of this I had no knowledge and thus the point of tension in my mind was great. After this long moment of reflection where my mind seemed to go back and forth between the two decisions about a hundred times I finally settled on the inner voice. I thought to myself that I did not have a good logical reason to doubt these inclusive words and if I need to put myself at risk to help a friend then so be it. Upon making the decision to proceed I gazed upon my friend in the distance again who had her back turned to me. Fortunately, she had not noticed me staring at her. As I look her direction I raised my right and whispered these words: "In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to be healed." Instantly, upon completing this sentence I felt a surge of divine energy going through the warp and woof of my being to the extent I almost collapsed on the ground. This was very unexpected, for I had never associated any energy transference with miracles, and my immediate thought was that perhaps God was in the midst of punishing me by dissolving my body and soul back to the nothingness from whence it came. I used what little energy I had left to head toward home as fast as I could and did not notice whether the decree had any effect on my friend. For a while I was more concerned about my own well being than any one else's, but after a while my state of being seemed to return to normal and I thought that perhaps God was just sending me a warning not to mess around where I do not belong. I put the experience out of my mind until about two days later. I saw my friend at school walking with no crutches. I was curious about this and walked up to her and asked about her recovery. She smiled and said that the doctor had told her that her disease went into remission - that it may not last, but she was feeling fine for now. When she said this the truth then dawned on me. God was not trying to punish me. I had made the right decision after all. A true miracle had happened and the power which I had felt was some type of spiritual energy going through me into her. Evidently, I thought, this was just part of some natural process. I was just an instrument in the hands of one greater than me. I left her presence realizing that perhaps the greatest miracle of all was the knowledge that I now possessed and that from that point on I should trust the highest I receive from within more than all the voices without. The interesting thing is that at the time I had a beloved uncle who was dying of MS, but when I contemplated doing the same thing for him I felt restrained from doing so. I later found out the reason for this. That is each illness is sent to us to teach us something and that the problem can be permanently removed when the lesson is learned. My Uncle had lessons to learn from his struggle that I was not supposed to remove from him. I believe I was allowed to heal my friend more as a teaching lesson to me than anything else and it was the right thing to do because of the inward message to go ahead. Of all the sick people I have met I have only been impressed one other time to silently heal without the cooperation of the patient. An interesting ending note here is that about 36 years after the healing of my high school friend my wife and I were dining in a restaurant and we were accosted by a middle aged lady who said to me: "You're Joe Dewey aren't you?" I looked up and the person looked a little familiar, but wasn't positive who she was." She saw the puzzled look in my eyes and then identified herself. It was the same girl who had MS and was healed. I hadn't seen her for over thirty years. I asked her about her illness and if it had ever returned. She responded that her husband had died but she has been in good health ever since her "remission." We visited a while and she returned to her table. Then I said to my wife, "Do you remember me telling you about that miraculous healing of my friend back in High School?." She said she remembered. "The lady we just talked to is her." "Haven't you ever told her what happened?" "No." "Why not?" "I've just never been impressed to do so." This is the basic account of my first confrontation with the dragon of authority, but not my last. Confronting and slaying your first dragon of authority is the first major step for when the Spirit of God through your soul sees that you will listen to It more than the multitude of voices without then the lines of communication swing open wide. But then the problem of focus begins. The disciple must keep his attention on the Inner Light and when a communication from the soul is received he or she must learn to trust it and follow what is revealed. If he does not then the door shuts again until the information is heard and incorporated. I have written this account in the hope of giving inspiration to others to face the dragon and slay him in your own lives, but am out of time for now and will write more tomorrow. I think it is such a sad thing how human sexuality is by large thought of as something dirty, and is for many people so centered around lower chakras, having a self-satisfying focus, and is so often more lust than true selfless labor of love :) Then again, I am sure that people on this list can relate to what I'm talking about, but probably do not identify with it :) Sex is a beautiful divine thing if approached selflessly." its also said we are evolving to the point...(thank god, millions of years away!!) where we will return to being asexual beings..(maybe thats why we are holding up the evolution of consciousness...doesnt sound appealing?..haha..my teacher said once..a climax is the closest thing you can get to "feeling" God..so have as many climaxes as you can as often as you can!!! First, when reading these verses that Papajoe suggested I read, something totally new entered my consciousness: That man was created on the sixth day. Does that relate to the SIXTH RAY the list was talking about earlier? Is that TOO simple, or what? And man wasn't formed out of the dust of the earth and breathed with life until way after the 7th day. Woman was even formed after that, even though man was created male and female at man's creation. Which says to me that God is both male/female, that man is female/male and woman is male/female. Sure, man was one time souless, before his soul was formed. In the beginning man was Spirit, just as God is Spirit. I thought we were talking in today terms. Not in creation terms. Gen 1:26 says that man was made with all the abilities and nature of God. Gen 2:7 is when man was formed and given life, given a living soul. You could, then say that, man is the physical aspect of the Creator; that Man is the being through whom the spoken word of creativity is manifest, and that Man is God's vehicle of expression. We need to define what soul is before we can contact what soul is. As JJ said, soul is as the ENERGY between the TV station and your TV set. Is it understood that we all have a soul? Even the Dark Brothers? I remember, I breathe. Therefore, do I have a soul? In a book I have about the Tree of Life and the Tarot the Key 0, for Letter A (Aleph), The Fool, the Key "relates to the element Air as the Divine Life- Breath of God. "As the number Zero, this Key represents the inhalation of the Divine Breath BEFORE the beginning of Creation, as an expectant hush lay over all the formless void before God spoke the Creative Word. In that Breath are all things contained which are to come forth, though nothing as yet is manifest: for in Breath is contained Spirit and in Spirit is contained Life." Also, "Uranus is the planet associated with this Key, and it relates to the unusual or the unexpected. Uranus tends to bring about sudden changes, especially when it comes to dissolving any outgrown or crystallized condition which stand in the way of progress. 'Ouranos' is a Greek word meaning 'heaven', and Uranus was the grandfather of the gods and of the heaven realm." "The Fool carries a wand which is the symbol of Will and of measurement. It's black suggests the command or use of occult (hidden) powers. The pouch suspended thereon is his bag of memories--the summed-up essence of all his past experiences being carried forward...." This Key means The Fool IS SPIRIT IN SEARCH OF EXPERIENCE. That experience becomes encased by the soul. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with your father. But I see what he did as coming more from an emotion, not the loss of his soul. The only way he could not have a soul is to cease to exist. The soul is to the body as the spirit is to the soul. I had a step father that I didn't like. He was never physically abusive, nor did he use alcohol, but he was verbally abusive. And hateful. Years later, when I began my quest in search of God, my feelings toward my step father had to be reconciled. I could not say that I loved him in spite of it all. But when I looked into the Akasha records to find out WHY he was so abusive I saw his childhood and the abuse he received, and I felt compassion for him. At that point I could release all my anger and bitterness toward how he treated my mother, and there was no longer anything to forgive him for because he was only reacting from his own childhood pains. We all have challenges we have to work through, some more than others, but they are there for a good reason, whether we can see it or not. I hope you can forgive your father some day. LeLona Post No. keys-l: /1999-01-02/2082 From: Rebecca Allbrite Subject: The male vs/ female thing Hi Keysters, Well, I had one heck of a good time New Years Eve and am now fully recuperated. I don't get daily mail, from the list, but dig through the archives, whenever I can find the time. Now I just have to add my two cents about the male/female issue. Of all the groups of, so called, enlightened beings that I have ever been around, this one clearly is the best at accepting others viewpoints. The group goes out of it's way to make even the most short-sighted of visitors feel welcome. In addition to reading the posts, I have also talked with many members. I know of no situation where anyone was ever asked to go seek elsewhere. It seems that those that have left, did so more on account of their own inability to fit in. When it comes to Males being dominant here, I think somebody isn't keeping score. If you read the mail, a weeks worth at a time, you begin to see that the girls, generally have a lot to say and are quite outspoken, whereas the boys tend to step carefully and are always asking to be forgiven, if they have stepped on any toes. I know there are exceptions, I am only talking in general here. The closest thing I have seen to something that could have pushed a girl's button, was when JJ, himself, said that Glenys came up with a pretty good answer, for a girl. But I thought it was pretty clear that he was only making an enlightening joke. I don't think Glenys minded a bit. The male/female, yin/yang thing is part of everything from clod to God, but as you approach Oneness it becomes much less of an issue. It all contains both. What appears male, to one, may seem just as female to another. We have each had turns at being males and females, get over it. On this list, we not only have members all over the world, but they also cover the whole spectrum between male and female. We have hedonists and celibates, gays, lesbians and transgenderists. I know, I talked to them all. Life's a stage. In my own case, my gender is female (at the moment), but that is not true of my biology. In fact, most of the time, I'm just one of the guys. Many, here, know me better, in that persona. Hey, it could be worse. Think of that poor guy that died with JC. He went to heaven, that day, but after 2000 years, he's still just known as the thief on the cross. What appears male, to one, may seem just as female to another. We have each had turns at being males and females, get over it." Of course, you're right Beci. However, just because we have all played different roles, it doesn't negate the importance of the present. Do we tolerate rapists because we too, have been rapists in the past? As I said before, I think this list shows enormous tolerance eg normally by now I'd be thinking of leaving because of all the off topic emails that clog up my limited time on the Internet. But I recognize that it's important to my friends on the list and happily delete away. I see a similar tolerance being exercised by others. However, I didn't see much tolerance when some of the women on the list voiced their concerns about the male gender being used to address God. As always, they were told that God is genderless and it shouldn't be a concern, although we should still continue to address 'him' in the male gender for the sake of convenience. If the gender of God is so unimportant, then people should have no trouble referring to God as 'She' rather than or as well as 'He'. In reacting against feminine references to God, people reveal the ancient bias that women are inseparable from their sexuality. Calling God 'She' brings up the issue of God's sex in ways that calling God 'He" never has. It is clear that a 'She' God would be no God at all to some people. If God is She, then God is no God at all. For some women these belief systems held by Society (the Beast?) and the whole foundation of patriarchy in the concept of God is a major hurdle and telling them they were men in previous lives and to be realistic doesn't help. I know it was a major issue for me for several years - and I believe it's an issue which most men don't even think about too much because it doesn't affect them on a personal level. That is the only gender issue I've seen discussed on this list where the males glossed over what I consider to be the genuine and heartfelt concern of some of the women. Other than that, I don't see any specific problems. As I said before, all I see in the great unity in diversity and the richness that our differences bring to the group. Regardless of your gender, God is male to your female and you are male to all the billions of lives, mineral, plant, and animal, that make up your collective, with them being female. This is the esoteric gender being talked of here. What we call the Father, is not just a single entity, but rather a collective of "zillions" of individual male and female souls. Anyway to help get you started I would suggest that you look in the BIBLE Gen.1:26-28 There you find GOD has created man, however in Gen.2:7 it states that he gave ADAM a soul. *snip*" Hey Papajoe, I read the scriptures you suggested, which I have studied off & on for many years, but I also read several verses before and after, to get the full meaning instead of taking it out of context, and I see nothing there that says man was created twice - once without a soul and 2nd with a soul. If you read Gen. 2: 4 - 7, it plainly states that this is the history* of the creation of the world and man - a reiteration of Gen.1: 26-28 - the vegetation had not yet begun to grow because God hadn't caused it to rain yet, and there WAS NO MAN to till the ground - then a powerful spring gushed out of the earth and watered all of the earth, causing the vegetation to grow and THEN He formed Adam (MAN) out of the soil & breathed life into him and he BECAME a living being or soul. By the way, the word 'Adam" is Hebrew for 'man' or 'mankind', and in some Bibles the word is used like it is a proper name, especially the KJV, but according to Strong's Concordance, the word 'adam' is used in both of your references and is only the word for man, not A man's name. Here is the exact translation: H120. 'adam, aw-dawm'; from H119; ruddy, i.e. a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.): person. *H8435. towledah, to-led-aw'; or toledah, to-led-aw'; from H3205; (plur. only) descent, i.e. family; (fig.) history:--birth, generations. So then, would you say that this one event replaced the mark of the beast for you? Or do you find that you have to constantly replace the mark? " That event happened years ago. I was trying to understand something I was reading in a book by Walter Russell, when suddenly it all made sense. I closed the book and looked up. Everything started getting brighter and brighter. If it had been regular light, it would have been painfully bright, but this light just kept increasing and filled me and I could not tell what was me and what was light. The light was the All and I became One with the All. Then I knew with total certainty that I knew the answers to every question that could ever be asked. I could read it in the geometry I saw there and I could hear God telling me that I was His son. After a while the light returned to almost normal. I was in a great mood for days. Did the experience permanently remove the mark of the beast? Yes and no. The experience was more real to me than anything else I have ever known. It is the only Truth I have ever felt I could give my life for. But I still had to go through another twenty years of training and purifying, before I was ready to come here and be with you guys. And there is still a long way to go. We all must continue against the beast, until it is destroyed. Even masters have been lost to the beast, so all must remain vigilant. I wish I could say that was only one of many experiences I have had in the light, but, alas, one big bang, then nothing but this little quiet voice inside my head. Maybe someday I'll have some more fireworks. It would be nice. But until then, that one was enough to keep me going till the day I leave this body behind.
