1998 - WEEK 49 Post-No.: keys-l/1998-12-07/1125 From: J J Dewey Subject: Like a Lamb The verses under discussion are: Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. Rev 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. Several of you were on the right track when you said the two horns like a lamb had something to do with Christ since Christ is called the "lamb of God." But the second beast is deceptive because "he spake as the dragon." Now let us examine it in a little more detail. First we are told that this beast comes up out of the earth. It may help here to give a more accurate translation. "Coming up" comes from the Greek ANABBAINO which means to grow and spring up like a plant. The word 'Earth" comes from GE which literally means "soil or land." Sometimes it can be translated as "country or earth." A more accurate rendering would be: "And I perceived another beast quickly growing like a plant out of the land (earth or soil)" This is actually a second symbol of Christ, the other being the "two horns like a lamb." Legend and inspired writings tell us that Christ was born in a cave. In other words Christ himself sprang out of the earth, literally. The earth is also a symbol of Virgo, the Virgin Mary who bore the Christ child. The earth is also a symbol of the developing Christ life on the physical plane. The trouble is that as each of us struggles to deliver the Christ child in our hearts and we struggle as if in a fog, see everything upside down. We first serve the anti Christ outside of ourselves for many lifetimes until we finally wake up and discover that which we served was illusion and the real Christ is within ourselves. This drama has been played out in our recent history for the second beast is the United States. The second beast grew up like a plant in a new land and that was America. Those who were drawn to the new country came for the sake of freedom, worship and opportunity - and qualities enunciated by the Master. The two horns like a lamb were: (1) The U.S. Constitution and the new political order with freely elected representatives. (2) The establishment of freedom of Religion and self determination. In addition to this several important religions were established here. (A) First the LDS or Mormons were created on the idea that revelation and miracles did not cease with the Bible but should always be a part of the church of Christ. Every person with a witness of Christ should be a prophet. (B) Christian Science. This church was founded on valid principles of healing that had potential to help many people. (C) Jehovah's Witnesses. This group did not intend to be a church but began as groups of people just getting together and seeing what the Bible had to say with no dogma attached. Unfortunately, even though these three churches began with these important Christ principles, they have all drifted from them. The Mormons no longer publish new revelation from God nor do they allow ordinary members to be prophets. Christian Science seems to have no more healings than any other church and the Jehovah Witnesses are now so dogmatic they irritate 90 per cent of the populace. All, of them have turned authoritative and strictly control what a member can learn and teach, yet remain in good standing. So the second beast is the United States that began its political and religious life as the lamb, but as it matured it became authoritative in both areas. This country now feels a need to use strong authority to decide which dictators of the beast will be cultivated and which ones will be destroyed. The conservatives feel the need to spread their dogmatic Bible belt religion world wide by whatever means necessary and the liberals feel the same need with their illogical extremist beliefs in the name of saving everything from the ozone layer to snails. Now both sides have their good points but the big promoters of both points of view would be destructive if either got their way and both sides support the strong authority demanded by the dragon. So now the United States has left its Christlike roots of free thought and religion and now is a strong promoter of mindless authority throughout the world. I do not say here that the US is evil in the normal sense. It still has the two horns like the lamb and may be the best country to live in on earth, but it has left its roots and lost much of its power given to it through free election and given power to unelected authorities in both church and state. Thus because authority is enshrined, the deadly wound of the first beast is healed and the worship (kissing up) has been renewed. Hiya!! A friend of mine (the same with whom I discovered the snow angel :) had seen a dream of me where my dad was the lead singer of U2, Bono, who has a Salman Rushdie connection. This friend knows nothing about me writing my piece yet. Anyway, last night I had a U2 dream as well, this time both me and my dad were gonna be guest guitar players in U2 as they were coming to my hometown to play a gig, which is a ridiculous idea because the population is a little over 40 000! :D But Porvoo has a U2 connection, because the summer before when they played in Finland the day before the concert was their guitarist Edge's birthday, and they had in fact spent it here in Porvoo, all band except Bono. Had had a dinner and later sailed out in the archipelago. Later their manager had said that the guys liked it so much, that day was in the top 10 days in the bands career. Needless to say, me and my hometown were extremely flattered :) And no I'm not even that big of a U2 fan, although they do have very good songs. Anyway, so in my dream me and my dad were to play with U2, and in real life my dad plays no instrument at all, I play guitar. I was a little worried, even if I have played some of their songs, I am quite good at playing by ear, would I be able to perform with the band? My dad reassured me, do not worry, just look at their hands and listen to the music, you'll soon figure it out and go on from there :) When we got up on stage there was no problem, we simply rocked!!! :D The song that was playing in my head in the morning was I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. In the past I would have found this discouraging, but now after our discussion here on the list, this is the ultimate freeing thing!!! In Rudolf Steiner related books, it is talked about the Turin "suaire" (French word), that is the outer clothes that Jesus was wearing while in the tomb. His body would have experienced some kind of nuclear reaction that would have left prints of his shape on that cloth. Now there is also a talk about the matter being changed from within by the incarnation of God in Christ. I feel it as a blossoming of matter . As if something was born in/from the simple particles. Like the little flower on ICQ window, something tiny and bright happening. Relating to Jesus while in the tomb, maybe his body passed through a major change when/if Jesus passed through some particular initiation and a special radiation was then emitted. Other human beings have lived this before, so this is not strictly what made nuclear reactions possible. It's said that the very matter had to change in order to make nuclear reaction possible, and that the Brotherhood and others (Shamballa, Ancient of Days) decided it and made it possible. Many things happened through Jesus that changed things on earth deeply, and that we don't hear about. It is said that while on the cross, when his blood fell on the ground, God could have a "talk" with the demons, and that hadn't happened in ages if ever, and he showed them he loved them, and since then they can no longer think heaven is against them, and it's a great pain to them. And the picture of a man on a cross is most frightful to them. Off-topic, true enough, but shows that this Christ mission did change many things that we don't even know existed and are fundamental. Now if Christ's greatest miracle was his resurrection, maybe this is linked to nuclear power. Maybe that because God was in Christ, this initiation allowed a change in matter's abilities. The nucleus of a cell splits in two and one cell becomes two. This is called fission. Scientists studying atomic nuclei were reminded of what happened in biology, so they used the same words. So perhaps splitting the atom is considered a symbol of Jesus' greatest miracle because it is the ultimate creative act of creating new life. Can anyone tell me why the splitting of the atom is a symbol of the greatest miracle that Jesus ever performed?" Is it that hard to put it in simplest form. I don't understand the reason for ten paragraphs when one can sum something up. The greatest miracle was rebirth. Like the saying goes "big things come in small packages", right? Well, the splitting of the atom creates the biggest form of pure energy that we have achieved, even though the atom is the smallest physical material. So goes, Jesus, a humble, poor man, who is God in human form. This is the comparison I see that Jesus and the atom have. Now, God being the greatest spiritual energy that we can comprehend. You're welcome Xavier, thank you for yours :) Let me share something of my past, which is maybe a little dimmer but is exactly something that has made me who I am today, and for that I am endlessly grateful. When I was say maybe 11-12, a few years after I was diagnosed with diabetes, I just felt the walls closing in on me (and I am in no way saying it is related to my diabetes) and I felt like I really did not belong here. I couldn't understand people, their selfishness and cruelty. Yet I felt trapped in a way, because I knew that life always continues, it just changes form, so as incredible hard as it felt, I picked myself up and turned it for the better, but it didn't happen overnight of course, but now I see how value there was hidden inside that time, that at the time seemed hopeless. For some reason, and I am not sure where this originates from, back then I was 110% sure that if I really wanted and put my focus there and made a choice, I would be able to just by my own thought make myself disappear, die. Not the prettiest thought I'd say :) I was so incredibly sure of that feeling, that I am almost embarrassed to now admit I felt that way back then. These days I feel so secure of myself on the other end of the spectrum, so stable and knowing deep in my being that I have faith. Hard to describe, but it's just this pure knowing that nothing can really harm you, because you have faith in yourself, and thru this you have faith in everything there is. Anyway, my point is that once you go to one extreme of the spectrum, it is paradoxically much easier to reach the other end, it is just like swinging out the minus before a number and now it's positive. You have once been there already, you just experienced the flip side of that same coin. Same magnitude, opposite experience. These days I feel like I could explode, but instead of dying, I would be alive plus more!!! :D :D So Xavier, whatever you are going thru, know that is for your growth, your best in the long run, there is *absolutely* no doubt about it. That explosion can have an outcome in either direction, it is your decision what you do with that enormous divine energy you have inside. We need to experience both the plusses and minuses of the scale, to gather kinetic energy of knowledge and return to that perfect point of balance, and with the pure intent and decisive focus with the power of that extra energy make that 'explosion' up we've been discussing here. I mean I agree, but this is all again stuff that I am just writing about, and again I feel tempted to share, but I choose not to before I am a finished Finn :) There is no contradiction between the original split and the split between atoms, except that the God/Goddess split was the first one ever and started the becoming process, and the atoms started splitting after this original 'explosion' inside of what came as the result of that original 'big bang' and they split on a more or less lower energy level, in a way mimicking the original split operating on a inner code or ever growing yet linear design that is within every one thing. The split pieces are not less than the whole and they are not separate, because in fact they are inside the whole. If you have one cell that starts splitting, the new ones are not less than the original but have the same qualities, but depending on which sides of the qualities are lit up and focused on, those qualities are highlighted. The human body is made up of cells that started with one cell splitting, yet I do not think with my toes for example. And human body is one unit, yet all the cells are smaller units within this one body. They all serve a purpose and are not lesser from each other, they just have a different function, and are all part of the becoming process. I couldn't be a sensing functioning unit if all of my cells were unified, because then I would just be and I couldn't be in motion and become like this universe is. We do not need to come together from pieces of the whole to become the greater source, because we already are an exact aspect of One. We just need to realize who we fully are, and be that in the eternal moment of now, and ride on the tip of that most potential wave in this current flow. I felt I should mention the fact that Jesus at his crucifixion was going through the Fourth initiation and the Christ was going through the Sixth. The Crucifixion happening caused a rent or tear in the etheric veil letting in Light on to the second level of the etheric plane allowing a new type of illumination to be spread abroad on the Earth. While it is true that the time will come when heaven and earth shall come together there is much misinformation about it. At least this article is intelligently written and does not predict that all will be transformed next week and all we have to do to be "saved" is sit back and accept the energy (let Jesus save). This person talks about subtle fusion, an idea that I have not come across before. As indicated in The Immortal Book II there are universes within the subatomic particles built on a different ray or number system than our universe. These infinitely small particles do have motion but do not create any fusion process that I am aware of. Physical matter is created on an illusionary principle that must be unfolded rather than undergo fusion to remove the illusion. Moses accomplished this when he came down from the mountain. His face glowed like the sun and they had to cover him because he was too bright to look upon. Jesus underwent the same thing on the mount of Transfiguration. He glowed like the sun. This did not happen by fusion, but by unmasking the illusion so the real can shine forth. This is a part of the process by which death is overcome. Both Moses and Jesus overcame death through this process to the point that they could be regenerated. At his resurrection the Christ went even further, however. There is an interesting scripture about Moses that will blow most Christians away if you quote it to them. Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. Here we are told that death reigned from Adam to Moses. Did Paul also realize that Moses also overcame death? Anyway the process of bringing heaven and earth together has just happened here and there at points of light in our history, but just as an atomic explosion is created in geometric progression that is 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 etc so is the transfiguration of the humanity and eventually the earth. This will take a very long period of time altogether. We hear all kinds of stories about the earth being transformed into a fourth dimension, some type of ascension or visit by space people and it's always going to happen very quickly, usually in a couple years, sometimes a couple months. 99% of this talk is illusion and will not happen anywhere like we hear predicted. The part about 2,4,8,16,etc. is about the chain reaction that happens in fission. A photon (light) enters into the Dense atom (world), which makes it split and give off two photons of its' own. If there are more uranium atoms near, these will be bombarded by the two photons and send out two each in turn, thus 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64. If there are many atoms present the process will increase very fast and create a thermo-nuclear blast. As we continue to gather together, as we are doing on this list, we get closer to having what is called a critical mass. When that mass is reached the process of bringing Heaven and Earth together would be very much speeded up. When less than a critical mass is present the fission still happens, but an explosion doesn't. You just get a lot of heat. That's how radio-active power plants work. Notice we have been hovering around 100 members. Perhaps if we get to much bigger we would detonate ourselves but the rest of the world would not partake. So the idea is to get this fission started and then seed other groups, around the world, so that critical mass is achieved world wide and we all get to partake of ascension together. However, some of them are still radioactive, sometimes for thousands of millions of years to come, pursuing series of transformations which should bring them to final stability. Others are created daily. This is why, since the dawn of time, the Earth, all living beings and everything around them, are radioactive. Natural radioactivity is also present inside the human body, as the food and water we absorb, the air we breathe contain naturally radioactive atoms. This radioactivity all around us can be measured, by means of specific instruments (radiation counters), with great precision, high sensitivity and good spatial resolution. Radioactive half-life As unstable atoms are transformed, the radioactivity of a substance decreases. The time required for this activity to decrease by half is called half-life. This half-life is characteristic of each radioactive isotope. It may range from a few fractions of a second to several thousand million years, depending on the isotope. Nature thus provides several hundred radioactive isotopes which constitute as many calibrated clocks. Examples: Polonium-214 (0.164 second), Oxygen-15 (2 minutes), Iodine-131 (8 days), Cobalt- 60 (5.3 years), Carbon-14 (5730 years), Plutonium-239 (24110 years), Uranium-238 (4.5 thousand million years). Nuclear energy After having understood what natural radioactivity is and having observed the highly complex structures of nuclei, physicists endeavored to understand where their high cohesion and density came from. The study of the considerable forces involved showed that a very large amount of energy could be drawn from them. Just as the bonding of atoms in molecules is the source of chemical energy, the bonding of protons and neutrons by nuclear forces is the source of nuclear energy, by far the most concentrated. It can effectively be released by fission or fusion Fission energy The total mass of the fission products and neutrons emitted is smaller than the mass of the initial nucleus. The mass difference or mass defect has been transformed into energy according to Einstein's famous equation E = mc2. The fission of all the nuclei of one kilogram of Uranium- 235 thus produces as much energy as the burning of 2,500 tons of coal! Two nuclei of light isotopes (isotopes of hydrogen for instance) can release a large amount of energy by fusing into a heavier nucleus such as helium. The fusion reaction occurs at a very high temperature, around 200 million degrees Celsius. This is why fusion is said to be a thermonuclear reaction. Such reactions occur in the Sun and stars. They were used in the H bomb (hydrogen bomb). Fusion energy In a fusion reaction, the mass of the final nucleus is lower than the sum of the masses of the two initial nuclei. This mass defect, relative to the same number of nucleons, provides a release of energy still higher than that given by a fission reaction. The fusion of all the nuclei of one kilogram of a mixture of deuterium and tritium would produce as much energy as the burning of 10,000 tons of coal! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm still trying to take all of this in but I'm recalling Xavier saying that the Hopi talk about a light brighter than a thousand suns (Jesus?) and Revelation reminding us that the Lamb Himself will provide the light in the city of God. Perhaps the release of energy initiated by Jesus' resurrection and the corresponding transmutation of matter this involved, released sufficient power for that light to be manifest on earth and heaven and in the hearts of the true believers. To add something, I'd say that I'm having normal relationships with normal people since only a few months, I passed through about 15 years of social weirdness. A point to it is that when your little flower from inside your heart is beginning to live, you just don't have the strength to fight with social animals... The Christ represented the positive nucleus of the atom. His crucifixion and burial represented the fall of spiritual matter into a state where illusion and death becomes a real concern. In this state the central sun (Son) of the atom has it's great light hidden by a veil of negative energy that becomes a tomb hiding a great reality. Atoms evolve similar to humans in that as they progress they add seven chakras or electron layers. When the seventh becomes active the atom becomes radioactive and may even glow in the dark as does radium. The radioactive human will also shine like the sun during certain initiations as Jesus did on the Mount of transfiguration. Finally when the atom and the human complete their evolution, the dark tomb of matter can no longer hold them and that which seemed to be dead, splits the tomb of death in two and the pure spiritual energy escapes. In the case of the atom a certain percentage is translated into pure energy or spirit and in the case of the Christ the inner life stands revealed as pure spirit and is no longer limited by physical restrictions. What is interesting here is that the Christian world is awaiting a great world dictator and false prophet and all these things have already come true. Our age corresponds to the days of Jesus in that the Messiah came and fulfilled all the prophecies, but the world missed it and even now the Jews still look for their savior. Today everyone is waiting the the beast and other signs that are already here. To illustrate this and expand on the sign of atomic energy let us go to a prediction of Jesus. I have a question: since hydrogen, one electron on the first electron layer, is so prevalent in this universe (way over 90%), does it mean that most of universe is still at an early stage in the development, basically sleeping in its cradle, *or* that we are in our current limited ability to perceive the whole only able to see the parts that reflect ourselves? Greetings Everyone: I have been enjoying all the posts from a distance, but when JJ posted this one I felt the time had come to share the experience of a dream I had 7/2/98. Prior to this dream, on 6/29 and 6/30 I had been led to write. I had not written anything in months, and for some reason I was awakened and began writing, what ended up in two days time, an entire ruled notebook. I was in a fog the whole time, but it was a very blissful fog. The information I received went into much detail on so many things I cannot go into it at this time, but will write it out and post it on a web page one day. On 7/2/98 I awoke to this dream, and please bear with me on this, because at the end something will sound familiar to all of you; JJ especially. Shortly after this dream, Book 1 came into my life. This is from my journal. "I awoke from a dream or was it a vision? My husband and I, along with many, many people were in an open outside area, likened to that of a large field, pasture or park. Everyone was with their families. Children were playing ball or catch; parents were picnicking with their kids on blankets spread on the ground. It was a beautiful picture of unity and harmony. At this time, my attention was immediately drawn to some movement in the sky. It was still light outside, but dark enough that the sky was lit up with an "enormous" amount of stars. I began to see all kinds of movement. In particular, what appeared as "stars", approximately eight of them began moving in erratic directions, speeds and angles. I had a feeling something was not right when, all of a sudden, one of the "lights" appeared to strike another "light". The light which was struck, burst into, what appeared to be, an explosion. I saw this, and did not know if anyone else had witnessed it, when the exploded object began falling to the Earth. At this time, everyone saw the object falling, and it fell into the field in front of me and many people. I ran up to the craft, which appeared to be the remnants of an airplane, with 2 men inside of it dressed in everyday casual dress. They were stunned out of their wits, one bolted out of the craft and headed for a parking lot and was gone, the other guy was trying to make his getaway. They just wanted to "leave and get the heck out of there." I insisted on going after them, because I had seen the entire thing happen in the sky and I wanted them to tell me what they had seen, and what had happened to them. The guy who did not get away said, "I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT, I JUST WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE!!" But, you have to tell me!! I said, I SAW EVERYTHING!! WHAT HIT YOU? He said, "ALL I AM GOING TO SAY IS, "IT WASN'T FROM HERE!" I knew that, and he hurriedly left." "Instantly, I looked up and saw the sky was "lit up" everywhere with activity! Everywhere I turned the night sky and the ?stars became lights shooting in every direction at high speeds, at varying degrees and angles, many different maneuvers. I ran to get my husband and everyone's attention. Suddenly, they witnessed what I was seeing, and all of us were frozen, because we "knew" this was not normal. Something was happening in the heavens! It was at this moment, I heard the words, in the James Earl Jones voice say, "IT IS TIME". What looked like the Milky Way constellation in my peripheral vision, began moving in the sky from behind me and my husband, and came over our heads. From what looked like the Milky Way, the most massive object was forming that I had ever seen. It took on the form of a gigantic hand, and then all the stars in the heavens merged with it to form the MOST MASSIVE BEING, I had ever seen! The body of this being WAS the ENTIRE SKY. As far as one could imagine, there was not one part of the heavens that was not this being; The MOST BEAUTIFUL MAN APPEARED FOR ALL OF US TO SEE. It was instant knowledge of who he was. All I could say, as I stood amazed, was "This is Jeshua, our Savior!" He has come to help us, his children!" The time in which the activity in the heavens had begun, until the time of His appearing was only the matter of seconds, and HE WAS THERE! He did not waste any time. And now, He was looking at all of us with the most wonderful smile, and sparkle in his eyes, so full of love, the emotion in my dreams could not express the depth of love which was felt at beholding such an awesome presence. He had the most beautiful eyes, light blue or green, and long salt and pepper gray hair, beard and mustache. His hair was below his shoulders, and the wind was blowing through it. He appeared as a young man between late 30's and mid 40's. He was so beautiful. All at once, he BEGAN SINGING A SONG; a song we all knew! And we sang with him, our hands in the air. I was lucid in my dream, amazed that the words to the song were flowing from my lips, when I knew I had "never" sang it before in this lifetime. I wanted so badly to remember the words to write them down in my journal, but I knew it was okay if I did not. As Jesus was singing this wonderful song, in the most glorious and heavenly voice I had ever heard, he telepathically sent this message to all of us, "SEE, I TOLD YOU BEFORE, YOU WOULD "NEVER" FORGET THE WORDS!" "Everyone was saying, "This isn't as bad as everyone said it would be? This is all there is to it? This portion of our lives is "over" and a new one begins?" It was soooo easy, was being said as our Lord was singing this beautiful song. He and we were so happy. He was saying, "It happened just like I said it would!" We saw Him in the sky! Jesus was descending from the heavens in his massive form, coming down to sit on the side of a grassy hill or mountain. All of us were running to be with him. At this time, I knew I had sung a familiar song, and I knew the Lord had come, "when it was time" just like he said he would. He was letting us know this. We also knew we had done this before, because we remembered when he appeared. We INSTANTLY REMEMBERED. He was saying to us, "Why have people made more out of this than what I have always told you would happen? You have always been given this information, even as a child in parts of your Holy Bible. Why have people made my coming into more than what it has always been said it would be? Why has so much truth been distorted? I come to you in your heart, it is so simple. I said I would come in the blink of an eye, in an instant; I did not waste any time, you know that, because when you felt something was wrong in the heavens, immediately I appeared, just like I have always said I would. It is time!" And I awoke. Later, when I read Book 1 and saw the Song of the 144,000 I began shaking and crying, for this was the song as it was sung by Jeshua in my dream. I will never forget it as long as I live. I also know JJ comes from truth. Thank you so much for this forum. I look forward to advancing my awareness to greater heights as a result of it. This is from my journal." Hi Becky, Thanks for posting this dream account. I found it interesting from the beginning, since it occurred on my birthday. 7/2/63 to be exact. And the "vision" you were given is very important in this time. This is something I simply know. It's always seemed to come to me to make things simple again. Even as a kid. I mean really young, I remember saying and thinking that the "answer to everything must be simple". I've devoted much of my time to discovering that truth. Thanks again for posting it. I've been reading the posts having to do with numerology and admit that I have no background in this. But I find it very interesting. And since this post is responding to a dream account, I think I may just add one of my own here. Like Becky's, it's the end of the dream which may be significant to this group. This dream, which occurred two or three years ago, starts with me in my home. The house was filled with people I knew and at least one I didn't. Each person that I knew was doing something very normal and expected from them. The odd thing was that although we were in my home, I didn't see it as my home. It was someone else's, and I was leaving. I went out front to get to my car and found that there was a group of kids hanging all over it. Feeling no need to react, I got into the drivers seat and started forward. The group of kids were all laughing and having a grand old time. Some were on the front of the car obscuring my vision, but I managed to catch a glimpse of what was coming which was a large ramp of some type. It was as if it were built directly in the road to hurt me in some way. Having seen what was ahead, I slammed on my brakes and managed to stop the car just prior to going off the end of the ramp. It was at this time that the group of kids that were with me suddenly got really upset with me. One of them was insisting that I continue over the end of the ramp, but I would not. Now a very illuminated part of this dream was at this point, I grabbed hold of the "keys". I remember bringing them to my chest and holding on with all I had. As much as they tried, and they did, they could not pry those keys out of my hand. For those who have studied dreams and such, I'm sure you see many inferences in this, but the one which always stood out for me was the image and (very real) feeling of holding on to those keys. In any event, I wanted to share that dream for a while now. And now I have. Hope I haven't been a bore.
