Can you explain why someone is born rich or born a King, Queen or Emperor?

Not everyone can be born a king out of the billions of lives that inhabited the earth. What makes that person so special? Is there karma behind this?

You are right in that it is mathematically impossible for all of us to take a turn as a king, a famous movie star or President of the United States. What then is the criterion that allows one to assume a position of power where he can influence millions?

The principle is this. If a person has karma that pertains to millions that were harmed then he will eventually be born in a situation where he can undue that damage by performing a good service for millions. This is true if he seeks redemption and has not taken the dark path.

Let us say that a tyrant who brought suffering to millions has seen the error of his ways and after a series of redemptive lives he finally has an opportunity to pay for much of the damage he did. Because he damaged millions of people he cannot pay off this dept with average lives. He must be in a situation where he can benefit a similar number of people that he previously hurt.

Just as not everyone becomes a king, even so not everyone was a Hitler. Even so, all of us have lived like kings in some lives and in others made grievous mistakes. Fortunately, most of us haven’t done enough damage that requires us to positively influence millions of lives to pay off our karma.

Unfortunately, when the big opportunity comes for the seeker to pay off his karma through a position of power he will sometimes revert to his old patterns and create even more bad karma for himself. The difficulty in paying off great karma is therefore very hazardous and thus the seeker should always do everything in his power to tread the path of harmlessness.

So, was everyone who is now in a position of power paying off a huge dose of karma from being a bad dude in the past?

Not necessarily. Not all positions of power are reserved for working out karma. Sometimes disciples who owe little karma seek and obtain positions of power merely so they can have greater power to serve. Sometimes the need is great and hierarchy supports a karma-free disciple obtaining power so divine purpose can be more easily worked out.

In almost every case and situation general laws and principles apply, but not in the black and white mode with no judgment involved. There are always exceptions to every rule of thumb.

“After liberation we do not lose our free agency. We still have power to choose and the choice always leads to higher and lower paths. The difference between humanity and those in the kingdom of God is the Higher Lives have learned certain lessons and know better than to revert to known errors. For instance, the hiker who gets exposed to poison ivy will avoid it in the future.” Hopefully.

And so it is with the politicians as well.

“Tom: Ok, I see it Is necessary to be a leader in some situations….but some leaders who clawed their way to the top could start the next world war or kill anyone he/she wishes.”

Why do you think they get into power?

The fact that some really destructive entities obtain power and use it is an established fact and happens because of the overall karma of humanity as a whole. If the consciousness of the human race had been higher then a Hitler would not have been able to obtain power. But because of the lessons we needed to learn we have our Hitlers, Stalins and Maos appear periodically. Let us hope the worst is over and that soon a fairly stable period of peace will be forthcoming – but of course this will not happen without a few birth pains.”

This I agree with, and remember and the last moment humanity rallied itself back on course in WWII.

    My last post for today.

  3. “According to this logic the rulers are not (or never) moraly right for bening rulers simply because they hold office and that get’s attention? And consequently never morally right or to be trusted to some extent.” It was supposed to be, anyway:

It’s a judgment call I would say, caveat plenty.

By their frutis shall you know them.

  4. Thomas:
“What if someone thinks that being a leader only shows glamour and refuse to be a ruler? Some people might think that the fame involved in being a ruler is not morally right?

So according to this logic, being a ruler is not (or never) moraly right and consequently the rulers are not (or never) moraly right for bening rulers? I think these
people would perhaps be content with no rulers or leaders at all but the result would be anarky. Let us pray that that day never comes.

  5. JJ, thanks for answering my question…:) ….I hope that the people in charge will pay off some of their karma and those with good karma
can do even greater things. I have been told I might have been a ruler by psychics so I was just wondering?

What if someone thinks that being a leader only shows glamour and refuse to be a ruler? Some people might think that the fame involved in being a ruler is not morally right?

“However can they not prevent someone who has the potential to harm so many from getting in such as position?”

For starters it would interferere with free agency leading to disaster in the end, it might seem good but it’s not as
some tyrants tried to do that for the good of the whole as histrory clearly shows.

Second, why would they try [the karma lords] do that? Cancel out the principle of redemtion? I shudder when
I think of the consuquences. To make sure (100%) that everything goes right? There is no such (100%) thing in
    life in general.

  7. If we look back in history it seems we have had a over abundance of jerks in power who do more harm then good. So I must question the lords of Karma in allowing someone who has a history of harming millions into another position of power. Lets say Hitler or Stalin sees the error of his ways and has several redemptive lives. I can’t imagine giving them another shot at influencing millions for fear they might revert back to thier old patterns. Hopefully I am missing something here. It seems like they would be better off in a position like a Mother Teresa where they can serve millions but have little or no power to harm millions of they revert back to their old self.

    1. Most of those who abuse power are not placed in position to pay off karma but just clawed their way to the top and into a situation where they will generate lots of bad karma. The bad guys can climb to the top because of free will and the Lords of Karma always have to put this aspect in any equation.

Someone like Hitler would have to prove himself over numerous lifetimes before the Brotherhood of Light would trust him with their support, but i think he’s too far in the dark to ever come back to the soul. On the other hand, many have made grievous error and have returned. It would be interesting to see some of the early lives of The Christ. We might be quite surprised at some of his early deeds.

      1. Yeah I didn’t think the Lords of Karma just installed people in this or that position. However can they not prevent someone who has the potential to harm so many from getting in such as position? It just seems to me most people who aspire to positions of great power and influence do so out a greed and desire for power control and glamor .

        1. Unfortunately, you are right. Most who seek power do so for the wrong reasons.
