Synopsis: Most will agree that the issue of Illegal or Unauthorized Immigration ranks right up there with other "hot button" issues such as Global Warming -- and does because it is also closely tied to many other issues such as "homeland security," terrorism, economics, and politics. Presently there is rumored to be some 12 million "illegal and/or undocument" aliens, immigrants and workers living and working in the USA -- and this number is anticipated to continue to rise. Our borders with both Mexico and Canada are agreeably pourous -- and although legislation has been enacted to address both border security and the existing population of immigrants -- not much has been done to enact or enforce the existing laws. Some believe we need to create new and more stringent laws -- others believe all we need to do is to enforce the existing laws. You are invited to consider what author and spiritual teacher J.J. Dewey has to offer by way of solutions to this growing problem.
