Synopsis: Shirley McClain exclaimed, "I am God!" Jesus Christ said, "Do you know not that ye are Gods?" There are also many other scriptures throughout the New & Old Testament which indicate that this concept was understood and taught. Why then is this not taught by orthodox religions today? What part might selective translation and bias play in this? Who would benefit from obscuring this teaching and why? Some point to the fact that the first entity in the Bible to make mention of this was "The Serpent" himself -- stating that because it was spoken by Satan, that it had to be a lie. Did "The Serpent" lie? Did the Gods who said the same thing lie as well? Do we eventually become "a god" -- or are we already gods? What possibly was being taught here? Find out in J.J.
