Synopsis: This has to be one of the more disturbing teachings that is presented to us for examination and validation. But as our "religion" is the truth, we are therefore required to give this teaching equal consideration and attention as we would the more "enjoyable" ones. In this series of articles J. J. Dewey cites numerous examples of how those who we might consider as "spiritual giants" have had to each face their own Dwellers at various points in their spiritual evolution. This includes those such as Jesus, The Christ, Moses; and, in modern times, Joseph Smith. Eventually each one of us, great and small, must at some time face our own individual Dweller if we are to continue our spiritual progression. Regardless of your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual preparation for this event, it is guaranteed to be a most unpleasant and trying experience. In fact JJ Dewey states the following about this eventual encounter, "...facing our individual Dweller is a terrifying experience beyond the imagination of most seekers."
