Birth Of The Christ Within

As a concept, it would seem that at least on the surface, that the idea of "the Christ within"--in some form--is becoming more and more acceptable not only
to traditional religionists, but to other paths of spiritual thought as well. However, like many concepts, beliefs, practices and disciplines, it too seems to all come
down to a definition of terms--or--the ideas and principles that we or others convey or intend to convey when we say, hear or use any given set of words and phrases.
The reader needs to note that the title of this series of podcasts is the "birth of the Christ within," and not just "the Christ within." Many
believe that this, like many other spiritual attributes, exist in some way, shape or form within us all. And because they do, that nothing else needs to done other than
to acknowledge or profess them to be.
However, the reader is asked to consider: (1) that if there is no clear understanding of these words on the part of the sender or the receiver, then these words
and phrases may end up performing no other function than to provide a set of words and phrases that "sound nice," and could mean just about anything to anybody
who uses them; and, (2) if there is no clear definition, then there is no clear way to determine whether this spiritual attribute is fully developed, or whether the
seeker is on the right path to its development. Therefore, if these words and phrases are to be effective and have meaning, it would stand to reason that not only are
we going to have to define what the "birth of the Christ within" may mean; but will also need to explore the differences that may lie between these two statements.
So, if there is a difference between these two statements--then, what is it? If one must go through a "birthing experience," then what are the factors that
stimulate this "birth"? How can we prepare ourselves for the birth of the Christ within? How do we even know whether the Christ has been born within us or not?
