Voiding the Void

2000-4-9 04:25:00

Zina, why are you suddenly bothered about my teachings on the void? I have been saying the same thing since the beginning of the list and you have been disagreeing with me since you have joined. There is nothing new for you to be upset with now.

If you enter this void of nothingness wherein dwells Harry the bug, where are you? You are in a place that is no place, no karma, dualities, no time, no form and no space. If you try and look down (if that were possible) would there be a bottom? No there would be nothing - no bottom and therefore a bottomless pit.

The point between the dualities of creation is a place wherein lies the Purpose of God, which is very real and as DK said it "is not that 'which is not,' but simply that which is esoteric." And as we know, the word "esoteric" means hidden.

The beast from the Book of Revelations has a home in the bottomless pit because his creations are from a true void of nothingness. They are not even real to people in the world of duality once they cease to fear illusionary authority.

I personally do not see any evidence that you really believe in dwelling in the void, Zina. You tell me that this desirable void is beyond dualities, yet you speak of nothing but dualities in your post when referring to your beliefs.

(1) You start out by saying you are sad. Happy-sad duality #1.
(2) You talk about the void setting you free. Duality #2 Free/slave
(3) You talk about the creative power of the void Duality #3 create/destroy
(4) You speak of courageous authors you admire. Duality #4 courage/cowardly
(5) You love my spirit. Duality #5 love/hate.
(6) You speak of "beloved friends." Duality #6 beloved friends/hated enemies
(7) You say I have defiled the void. As a side note I do not know how to defile that which does not exist. Duality #7 Defile/holy
(8) You speak of "being." Duality #8 Being/becoming
(9) You speak of choice. Duality #9 choice/no choice
(10) You call me earthbound. Duality #10 earthbound/spiritbound. I suppose Ramtha is the latter, and because he is ephemeral it is OK to blindly trust him.
(11) You criticize me for writing fiction. Duality #11 Fiction/nonfiction. Note: James Redfield's Celestine Prophesy books are admitted to be fiction even though this is not admitted in the book itself. If the God of the universe was not speaking through Neal Walsch then that is also fiction even though he claims it is 100% true as is, spoken by God.
(12) You speak of your consciousness. Duality #12 Consciousness/unconscious....

I could go on. Now remember these are just from one of your posts and words you use in relation to your belief system. My question to you is how can you claim to be one who dwells in a void with no dualities when every belief that you expound upon is full of dualisms???

Most seekers believe the maxim that energy follows thought. Since all your thoughts are centered on duality then your energy must also be in duality just as much as the rest of us.

You are really picking at straws in some of your criticisms of me and I do not have time to comment on them all. You say I am plagiarizing by not giving credit to A Course in Miracles for the quote: "The truth is true and nothing else is true." You obviously know better than this. This is my favorite quote from the course and I have probably used it a dozen times in this course and in most cases I have mentioned its origin.

The last time I used it was in the recent article entitled TWO BECOMING ONE and here is an exact quote: "At Stage 4 a true principle from A Course in Miracles is discovered. 'The truth is true and nothing else is true.'"

I have given reference to this enough that I feel that it is redundant to mention the origin every time. Do you give reference to the Bible every time you say "God is Love?"

To bring this up when you have to know I have given proper credit in the past, indicates that you are indeed searching for evil where there is no evil. Are you just too attached to your own belief system, my dear sister? Why does it bother you so that my reasoning is strong? In your belief system the real part of us is in the void anyway so there is no way my teaching can destroy anything.

By the way, it is perfectly legal to use short quotes from any copyrighted material.

You talk despairingly about "those who love to argue," but you seem to love the argument more than anyone on the list. You had to know that bringing up the void again would create another argument, just as it has every other time you brought it up. In fact, I would guess that the majority of the heated arguments that have materialized on this list since you joined would not have even happened if you had not been here to either initiate them or fan the fires. Quite an accomplishment for one who sees herself detached from the dualities that lie in all arguments.

We also seem to chase away about twenty members whenever this type of exchange materializes so I hope to put this to bed early and move forward with the teachings that most here desire to participate in.
