Verse 2

Congratulations! We have finally finished verse 1; however, we will return and expand on certain points in it from time to time.

Moving on here - verse two reads as follows:

Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat (throne), and great authority.

Question: What is the meaning of the three animals? Who is the dragon and how does the dragon grant authority and power?

I am pleased to see that we have more lurkers responding. I'm not sure if lurker is the right word here. Maybe we should call them watchers or something like that, but whatever you like to be called, we are all glad to hear from you.

We are probably fortunate that we have not scared more away by examining the Bible. I am sure that many Spiritweb members are suspect of anyone quoting scripture. For this reason I was hesitant to start dissecting the Beast in New Age territory, but I think the time of synthesis of the New Age and the Old Age is at hand.
