My friends,

A while back I received an invitation from my son, Mark, to join him at goodreads.com. I joined but that was all I did. Then when I had a few moments I took a closer look and saw that one of the most important things you can do is list the books you've read so people in your circle can check them out and see what they have in common.

I started listing books I've read and after I got going I got hooked on completing the job. I began to see that any biography I may ever write would not be complete without such a list for a good part of what makes us what we are is what we have placed in our minds.

So far I have listed 450 books that I've read that I can remember. That's not an outstanding number, but you'll see that I have been very selective in what I have read throughout my life. Then too, some I have read more than once such as the scriptures and the Alice A. Bailey books.

I've also been through periods where I have been so busy making a living that I have had little time to read, once for about ten years, so I have been fortunate to get as many studies made as I have.
