Is Obama An Enlightened Being?

"Interesting article from the San Francisco paper which pretty much says that they think our presidential candidate Barrack Obama is an 'enlightened being' here to help us in the same manner as JFK and MLK. This article says the really highly evolved spiritual people are all endorsing Obama because of his spiritual energy. I just don't see it/get it. Yes, he has wonderful dialect but I definitely don't 'read' his energy the same as this article says so many do. So am opening up the question, as I'm always willing to be wrong, do I just don't get it and he is this wonderful spiritual being?"

JJ:

I read this article and found it somewhat nauseating.

He claims that Obama is enlightened NOT because of anything he has said, taught or accomplished, but because he has a captivating personality. This reminds me of died in the wool Mormons when they see the Prophet in person for the first time. I heard reports like this.

"And then I looked into his eyes and when I did I just knew he was a prophet of God."

The truth was that the Mormon leaders had nothing unusual about their eyes. People just see what they want to see.

Some people are so hungry for a leader after their own image that they are willing to project all their hopes on the first guy who comes along with a pleasing personality.

All the great tyrants have surfaced on th power of a dazzling personality. Hitler, Stalin, Castro, Pol Pot and many others not only mesmerized their followers but many in the press throughout the world were in awe of them as they rose to power.

Almost all the press of the world is singing accolades to Obama. Compare this to the man who historians call our greatest president. Whereas the New York Times is singing praises to Obama they called Lincoln a stupid ape. Many thought he was the stupidest, most dangerous present in history.

There were conspiracies in the North, the South, Canada, France and England to have him killed.

Read the words of Lincoln and you will see a president who truly spoke words of light.

Where are such words from Obama?

He wants to increase the use of force in making law obeying citizens comply to his version of righteousness whereas he wants to pursue terrorists with police force and when captured give them more rights than a member of our military has.

I heard Obama speak the other day when he didn't have his teleprompter to read from and he stammered so much he made Bush look like Shakespeare.

He's a good reader but he seems lost when left to his own devises with a question for which he has not memorized the answer.

I'm not betting on anyone being enlightened just because some new age gurus say he is enlightened. 90% of the new age teachers do not know light from dark and have a belief system that is a moving undefined target.

A truly enlightened person will speak words of light, not catch phrases.

A true worker of Light will not rely on his personality to convince others that he is an enlightened being. His words should be able to stand alone, part from any personality presentation.

He will support maximum freedom for all not take away freedom of the many so the few can have more.

Just as the New York Times and press in general hated Lincoln even so will they continue to despise the true workers of light.

"I can unequivocally say I will not be running for national office in four years, and my entire focus is making sure that I'm the best possible senator on behalf of the people of Illinois."

(Barack Obama -- 2004)

Obama:  "I will serve out my full six-year term. You know, Tim, if you get asked enough, sooner or later you get weary and you start looking for new ways of saying things. But my thinking has not changed."

Russert:  "So you will not run for president or vice president in 2008?"

Obama:  "I will not."
