Gathering Pictures - At Last!

2006-5-6 22:47:00

Now that it is nearly time for the 2006 gathering I am posting pictures from the Sun Valley Gathering of last year. You may view them at:

Click at the links at the bottom of the page to see the five pages of pictures.

We still have some choice accommodations for the gathering this year at the 2006 gathering. If you are considering coming please make your reservations as soon as possible.

Thanks,

JJ

The gathering will be in Whitefish, Montana at the beautiful Haymoon Ranch. We've reserved the entire ranch, consisting of several buildings situated on 20 acres of meadows, woods, a 1.5 acre lake, ponds, waterfalls, and fountains.

See picture at:

While there's lots to do on the site - a 10-person hot tub, fire pits for campfires, barbecues, picnic tables and gazebos for eating, paddle boating, canoeing and inner tubing on the lake, croquet, horseshoes, volleyball, exercise/rec room & ping pong - Whitefish is close to Glacier National Park and Big Mountain Ski Resort. It's only 10 minutes from the Glacier International Airport and 10 minutes from the Amtrak Station in Whitefish.

All cabins or quarters and the main lodge have a complete full-sized kitchen and most have a washer/dryer. All linens, dishes and cooking items are provided.

The dates we've reserved (we're lucky to get these due to popularity of the ranch) are Thursday, June 22 to Monday, June 26th. Check in Thursday will be around Noon and check out Monday will be no later than 11 am. Those who need to come a day early (June 21) will most likely be accommodated at a small additional cost. We cannot extend our stay beyond June 26 as another group is coming in that day.

The cost will be the same as charged for our Sun Valley gathering this year: $299.50 for singles and $560 for couples, which includes accommodations and seminar. Kids under 18 who will be sleeping in a bed, couch bed or rollaway bed will be $150. Kids under 18 willing to provide their own sleeping bag to sleep on the floor will be $100 for the 4 days. As most beds are Queens, singles of the same polarity will be required to share a bed.

Instead of assigning units like we did at the Sun Valley gathering, the accommodations for the 2006 gathering will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. A reservation requires a 50% deposit. We take all credit cards and checks. Call Artie at 800-390-5687 to reserve the unit and room(s) of your choice.

The lodge's 3 living spaces and library will be open for everyone to visit, and we'll likely use the large kitchen and dining area for group meals and parties. We will plan on doing Karaoke again as everyone enjoyed it last time.

The entire ranch sleeps 50 or more (with 2 new units opening next year), so encourage Keysters who haven't come in a while or friends new to our gatherings to join us.

This should be one of the best gatherings we've had, and it's a beautiful spot for a family vacation. If you haven't done some OMs on the top of a mountain, you'll even have a chairlift available to get you to the top of Big Mountain.
