I don't think JJ's book is intended to change "politicians" themselves but to educate people. The only way the system will change is when enough of the "people" will no longer tolerate it. If anyone can write a middle of the road book that can appeal to a larger amount of people on both sides JJ can.

A lot of people have woken up to the fact that the lines of demarcation for the parties have blurred in many areas but they feel and are powerless to do anything.

It has to start somewhere and it may take a generation or two.

The problem often with people is they want things over night and have an all or nothing attitude so it ends up being nothing because they do nothing rather then take one step at a time and persistently work toward a goal knowing it may take longer then they would like.

JJ's book is another step in the right direction.

Thanks for the comments Blayne and the rest of you who posted on this subject.

You're right, my immediate goal is not to change the politicians. They will be the last ones to change. Change has to start with the average guy on the street. When the masses awaken to some fairly simple truths then the politicians will follow.

Right now our media manipulates the average person and programs him with sound bites rather than truth and reason.

But we now live in an age like no other. With the Internet, blogs, cable TV and more ways to reach the masses there is an opportunity to shine a light where before there was only darkness.

In addition to this book being a means to bring some light to the common man it can also be a vehicle to draw some attention to myself so I will have more opportunity to bring my spiritual writings to the people.
