Being Civil 2

Looking back at the last couple of years, whenever "disruptions" plagued us, more than not, there was some connection with our service group, Triads. Examples; Triad members vs. Keysters whose views conflict with JJ's as written in the archives, Triad member vs. other Triad member regarding policies for continued development of the "Ideal", Triad member vs./ ex-Triad member or member wanna-bees, whose battles seem to span multiple lives, etc. OK, it's understandable.
Why you are bringing up this comparison is a mystery to me, Rick. Most of the disruptions here in the past have been from people who have only been Keys members, such as the regular Nothingness people who pass through. There are exceptions but I don't see the battleground lines you mention.
Rick:
Re: JJ putting Judes on moderation: For as long as you have known her, you should know this punishment is a fate worse than death, to her.
It is difficult to equate such a minor discipline as being so drastic in your mind, or hers. I would say the action is more like a mosquito bite at worst. She is still able to post, disagree and state her views. The only thing different is her post will be screened for personal insults and returned for rewriting if we see this happen.
Rick:
Sure, she has some rough edges (and I have spent years helping to smooth them), but she is still a gem.
I think so too and have given her personal coaching over the years to help her stay out of conflicts that cause disruptions. Even so, we can only allow so much disruption for the good of the whole.
Rick:
If you were fair, you would also moderate (or outright ban) those that willfully tormented her.
I do not know of anyone who willfully tormented her so I wouldn't know who to ban.
Rick:
Oh yeah, you can't because they are members of your precious Triads group.
You are being pretty sarcastic for one who I have considered a friend, and accusing me of unfairness at the same time.
Rick:
Are you so blind you cannot see that these Triad members have done more to hurt your reputation on the WWW than help it?
I know of no one in the Triads who has done me any harm to my reputation. What you are doing right now is coming closest to it by publicly insinuating blindness and unfairness on my part. These type of feelings from friends are best shared in private.
Rick:
Wanna sell more books? Loose the crybabies from Triads and get a few more Judys on Keys and I'll bet you'll see an increase in sales.
The Keys has very little effect on book sales. I don't go out and get anyone. Whoever shows up and is civil is welcome to stay. I think we've only kicked one person off the list in the past seven years.
Rick:
Currently, I am embarrassed to admit that I am a member of Triads and only stay because I hope it can still be made right.
You need to discuss that on the Triad list. This is the Keys list and most here don't have a clue as to what you're talking about. I don't even know what you're talking about and I created the Triads.
Rick:
So there you have it. I didn't want to be the one to write it, because the "dogs" may turn on me next, instead of facing the real problem. Sorry, but I just couldn't keep quiet any more, as I watch our beloved group go to the dogs.
The list is moving onward just as it has for seven years. It's no more gone to the dogs than it was two, three or five years ago. It appears that the only reason you think this is because your friend Judy is placed on moderation. I'm sorry this bothers you but if I am going to teach here, I will tolerate quite a bit, but not a free-for-all attack zone.
Rick:
Come on Keysters, be true to your age (7) and let reason enter in and restore the Oneness that has been promised from the beginning.
Oneness was not promised here nor was it expected. You'll never get oneness in a cosmopolitan group like this. Those who achieve soul contact together can achieve oneness but it is not to be expected in a diverse group with many members having different states of consciousness and belief systems.
We are here to learn from each other, provide a vehicle for my teachings and make some friends. In the process some may receive some preparations to be of service to humanity.
If one is master of one thing and understands one thing well, one has at the same time, insight into and understanding of many things. Vincent van Gogh (1853 - 1890)
