We had a great gathering. I think most are just arriving home and getting acclimated to regular life again. I am sure we will hear from some of them soon. I certainly encourage all to post about their experiences who feel so disposed.
This year everything went pretty much as planned with few glitches. The recording worked well and we will have audio of the whole thing which we will make available. Bryan and Susan's son worked together to film the whole procedure. Bryan tells me that he is going to have it edited and will make DVD's available to the group.
Altogether we had somewhere between 40-50 people and many of them new to the gathering. I was impressed with the overall quality of the people there and really enjoyed rubbing shoulders with them.
On Saturday night we had dancing and Karaoke. No one ever dreamed we had so many singing stars and performers. This was great fun for all of us. Peggy, the lady who handled the Karaoke, said she enjoyed our group more than any she had worked with and attended the meetings the next day and bought the book.
We all felt grateful to Susan Carter and her crew for all their work in making everything a success down to the finest detail.
I'll be making another post tonight and again encourage those coming home to post their thoughts.
When the character of a man is not clear to you, look at his friends.
