RE: O.T Insights

The following was taken from another web-site. I found the following within an short article. I will not tell you who the author is, because it will prejudice your impressions of truth given within these words.

"...Be a be-er, not a believer..." This reminded me of the principle of self-initiation.

"...imprisoned by my appearance in their own imaginations..." This reminded me of how our imagined impressions of God are influenced by our own desires and prejudices.

"...It ?s all about love, that I can tell you. What survives is what loves. The rest dies. When we die, there is often so little left from this life that it is as if it was never lived..." This reminded me of between life regret of opportunities missed and things not yet accomplished.

"...I am speaking of compassion. Where compassion for ourselves and others enters our hearts and becomes part of our hearts, we become eternal. But we have no real understanding of compassion. Compassion rests in wisdom..." This reminded me of D.K's definition of love/wisdom.

"...It is the ability and willingness to guide oneself and others toward what is most needed..." This reminded me of a disciple's calling. J.J. does this continually on our list.

"...defined sin as the denial of the right to thrive...." Is this not a perfect definition of sin, or should I say error.

JJ:
Quoting Whitley Strieber I see. We do need to judge all teachings based on how their content strikes our souls even if their expertise is in an area that some would question.

I like his statement:

"It's all about love, that I can tell you. What survives is what loves. The rest dies. When we die, there is often so little left from this life that it is as if it was never lived..."

Beyond this Light and Love are wrapped up in the Will-Power-Purpose of God, but Love as we understand it is the step we must take at this time. JJ
