It sounds like Rick's unstable ex-wife who used her kid to force Rick into taking her in, finally outdid her welcome to the extent that tempers were lost.

Margaret, if Rick tried to set you on fire then why did you move back in with him of your own free will??? How smart is that?

Obviously you are a much greater problem to Rick than he is to you.

Just move out, leave Rick alone, and all your concerns about him will be no more.
