Since we are analyzing this person it may be helpful to know the title of his book and what it was about as well as the service he initiated

No I won't do that, JJ. I have already said I'm sorry I quoted his post so I'm not going to make myself more sorry by revealing his identity. It would be most unfair to him to have his work analyzed without his approval and I don't propose to ask him for it. Besides, I think your policy of analyzing people who can't be hurt, such as famous dead people, should stand.

JJ:
My policy has been not just dead people but also living people removed enough from our little group that they would not be affected or even know what we are doing. Past examples have been Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Rush Limbaugh, Bush etc. I figured that examining another writer such as the one you quoted who was not connected with the list would be similar in that he would be oblivious to our analysis. I also assumed that his post was made in some forum with the intent that all who wished could read and analyze it. I see no reason to present him with our analysis if you think his feelings would be hurt.

Personally if some group were analyzing my writings (which happens at times) I would be quite interested in knowing what they thought, even if it was negative.

I would be interested in seeing this quote. If you could find it I would be interested in examining it.

Glenys:
Well, I can't find it so maybe you've caught me out :-) But I seem to remember DK saying that he had developed an excessive devotion to His Master, K.H and he had to deal with it. Does that ring a bell? If not, I'll withdraw my statement with apologies until I can locate the extract.

JJ:
If I am recalling the correct remark you are referring to he was talking about an incident from a past life before he became a Master. I would think a Master has overcome all glamour, unless he was to incarnate and experience a temporary retrogression.

(Note: I just noticed Mindy and Robill were thinking on this line)

Of course there are still some very famous and adored people out there who are subject to them so we should not feel alone in dealing our own difficulties.
