I agree, but what I was getting at was if the dark brother is cut off from his Soul, his Higher Self, "which is a master on its own plane", what does that higher self do, wait around until the dark brother starts evolving again, go get somebody else to work with, or does the Soul go to the dark place as well?

The soul has a life on its own plane which is not affected by our failures here.
An imperfect example would be a parent who has a son who has made mistakes and gets sent to prison. This does not prevent the father or mother from having a fulfilling life without his presence.
