Understanding the Enemy

My Friends,

I am enjoying your comments on the latest chapter but there is one thing that needs clarification. Perhaps I need to add some clarification in the book also.

When Joe was struck by the negative force his attention was shifted away from solving the Lost Key of the Buddha to the Key to overcoming the force. Elizabeth then picked up a message from John that there is a key word around the principle of deliverance. The chapter ends with Joe realizing the principle and what must be the key word to overcoming evil attack.

After his next encounter with John he will again work on the lost Key of the Buddha.

I usually don't say what is truth and fiction in the story. I think I did tell you earlier that the account of laughing away the evil presence (in book I) was a true experience. This encounter with the evil force is also a true one with the timeline and circumstances somewhat altered. Overcoming it and finding the key took longer and was more difficult than related in the story, but I had to shorten up the experience or the story would have dragged somewhat.

The reason I relate this is that many people on both sides of the spectrum have illusions about evil. Some on the right see the devil under every rock and many on the left feel that anyone with a little love in their heart not putting attention on their fears would never have any encounter with evil, dark brothers, negative force or whatever you want to call it.

The truth is that one doesn't have to fear evil under every rock, but for the disciple on the path, placing it under is control demands more than just thinking positive thoughts. When the attack occurred I was (even more than the story indicates) in a very positive frame of mind, had love in my heart, had no fear and was seeking greater light - everything the new agers say will dispel evil.

The truth is that the Dark Brothers are very intelligent and they have little interest in attacking a depressed person full of fears. This type of person has his own elemental demons of a more primitive nature which he has to deal with but is basically ignored by the dark lords. One thing that will get their attention is an effort by a disciple to shed greater light on the darkness of the world. This will diminish their power and can bring forth an attack on the disciple or those close to him.

This will have nothing to do with a belief in evil attracting evil for many things happen in this reality that have no connection to an individual belief system.

There was once a newspaperman who began a series of favorable articles on the city's building inspection program. Little did he know, however, that some of the details he began to reveal would expose mob connections that some powerful people did not want uncovered. The mob therefore decided to attack and destroy the reporter.

When the reporter was attacked he was surprised because he did not even know he had an enemy out there. He was bright enough to realize that he could not neutralize his enemy by positive thoughts and love alone. Instead, he first sought to understand them and then concocted a plan to either neutralize or defeat his attackers.

Even so, many of the disciples of the world are like the reporter who does not realize what they are dealing with when they make a real move to reveal that which was previously hidden.

Hopefully the current section of the book will reveal a key that will assist true seekers in putting the negativity "behind them" as John A says.
