Glenys is having difficulty getting her posts through so I am forward this for her.

Hi JJ,

Thanks for the welcome.

I would be able to post more if I could figure out Yahoo.

The membership lists shows my email addy as anubis@m... and I certainly get SOME of the messages there but I'm actually registered under isis@s... Yet I haven't received mail there except about 612 copies of the Welcome letter :-)

Interesting ranking of the various teachings. I wouldn't presume to disagree but note that the Agni Yoga people would talk in terms of Master M with respect to the Roerich books just as we talk of DK in terms of the AAB books. This is just me in inclusive mode. Enjoy it while you can :-)

It will be interesting to see what you think of the AG/MM books. I find them very difficult even though the language used and the concepts introduced are less complex than those used by the Tibetan. But I think it's a ray thing as I said in my previous emails.

I'm looking forward to your teaching on female masters. Despite protests that it's not important I think anything in the teachings that is, or could be, a stumbling block for people is worthy of discussion and it is unwise to dismiss it because it doesn't fit our own frames of reference. That includes the apparent male orientated Hierarchy as described by DK (and I stress 'apparent') as well as his other 'difficult' teachings which seem out of date eg those on homosexuality and the evolution of the non-Caucasian races. I know such topics are regarded as 'embarrassing' by the Lucis Trust whereas I think there are good explanations available and the Trust should be more proactive in clarifying such topics for seekers by providing 'position' papers or similar on their site. As you can imagine, I have let them know my views ;-)

While not wishing to pre-empt your comments on the female aspect, it is interesting to note that DK remarks that if you take the devic hierarchical evolution into account, our planet is currently manifesting a female aspect. This female aspect is stressed in the Agni books. DK also gives 'hints' about female energy in his teachings on Virgo and the role it plays in developing the Christ life in the individual.

In the Secret Doctrine, Blavatsky talks about Lilith, the great Atlantean goddess and in TWM, DK mentions that after the Atlantean debacle, those representing the Hierarchy in incarnation retreated from public view and the great goddess 'veiled her face'. I think this is one of the main reasons why we don't hear about female masters so much - at least in the trans-Himalayan tradition. However, as the Hierarchy is becoming externalized, this is changing and the feminine energy is becoming more obvious. Well that's my take on it anyway :-)

Love Glenys
