I thought it would be a couple days before the three obstacles were named. You not only named them but came up with a whopping explanation that was quite accurate.
An interesting learning note here is that as the group got closer to the truth everyone seemed to sense it indicating group soul contact. Then when Glenys named the three obstacles they seemed right to those who commented on it.
A second point is that all other answers pointed in this direction in one way or another, even me (Maya), myself (glamour) and I (illusion).
I would suggest the study of Gleny's posting with the view that the obstacles are overcome one at a time over a long period of time. The important thing is for each person to find out which one he is working on.
LeLona's use of the parable was very creative and could be expanded on to bring further light.
Now talk about synchronicity. Kurt posted a prayer which has ingredients of the three obstacles that we can examine. I hope I do not offend him, but this is too good of a learning tool to pass up. Let me repeat it.
