Pope John Paul I was born in 1912.
Pope John Paul II was born in 1920.

"The Master Jesus, who is the focal point of the energy that flows through the various Christian churches, is at present living in a Syrian body, and dwells in a certain part of the Holy Land".
Given the above was written in 1922, and that both these men who were to become Popes were already alive, that would seem to rule both of them out if AAB is to be completely consistent.

Unless an overshadowing of some sort was involved.

I considered this possible contradiction, but Glenys presents a possibility and another one is that the Master Jesus could have been a walk-in and taken possession of the body of one of his disciples.
