I am happy to report that Glenys has come out of surgery with much better results than the doctors expected.
Here is part of what she wrote:
"As you know, the surgeon was sure I had an acute and untreatable cancer that was very malignant and would soon cause my death. Well much to his surprise he had to modify his view considerably after the op :-) When he visited me after the surgery, he said that he was 'pretty sure' it was a lymphoma (which isn't cancer) and while it was still highly malignant, it was treatable with radiation and chemo and I could expect to fully recover....
"I hope you can sense in some way the gratitude I feel towards all those who are praying for me. I will never be able to thank you - and them -enough. Love to you all
Glenys"
The rest of the letter showed a positive attitude, some good humor and hope for the future.
The group is to be commended for their thoughts, prayers and suggestions.
