Questions to 'privacy'

(1) You quote the scripture "making a man an offender for a word" apparently in agreement with it. Yet almost every sentence you have posted so far is concentrated on making each statement made by each person you reference an offender for their words. Is this not hypocritical of you?

(2) Satan is called the destroyer in the scriptures and also the "accuser of the brethren." So far you have only sought to destroy and accuse. Why are you so bitter? You act like you are the one cast out of heaven.

(3) How in the world do you plan to ever live in your ideal society when you would be lucky to find even three people in the whole planet who would agree with you?

(3) God used force in casting Adam out of the Garden and Satan out of heaven. Did He violate their rights? According to the scriptures He also destroyed all but Noah and his family because they were not obedient to law. Do you condemn God for this since according to your view their free will was violated? Was Moses evil for giving the law to Israel?

(4) You claim to be so fanatical about free agency that your views take away more freedom than they give. Take for example your response to the six people tortured by the barking dogs of a selfish, mindless, obnoxious neighbor. Your solution - that the six should move so the one can have his barking dogs. And you think that the six do not have their freedom violated??? Are they moving of their own free will? No, they are forced to move if the law does not do something about the barking dogs.

Let's increase the intensity here. If your neighbor rapes your daughter every afternoon when you are at work will you then just move so this does not happen again? Get real man!

(5) Why do you believe in a system that has never been demonstrated? The closest thing we have seen to a lawless society is the wild west and the first thing the people began demanding was protection under the law to prevent their domination by thugs. If you had your way with even a hundred followers they would demand protection (probably from you among others) under the law and your ideal would be frustrated.

You say:
"I have an entire web site devoted to nothing but clarifying the problem and presenting a ROAD TESTED method to get out, and no longer be part of the problem, but part of the solution. I've done it. I live it. I know it works."

You seem to have a number of people loosely connected to you at different points in the country, but how many gathered into one location have demonstrated your principles of anarchy? And how is it possible to demonstrate principles of anarchy while you are protected by the laws of the United States? The only way to truly demonstrate anarchy is to be gathered in a location beyond the jurisdiction of any law and you have not done that. No one has in the history of mankind.

(5) You preach to everyone in your path as to how they violate free agency, yet you violate the agency of others on this list more than any person who has ever joined it. You know that this type of attack and accusing your brethren and extreme views is not what this list is for, yet you force your weight upon us and violate common courtesy that everyone here considers sacred. Why do you not practice what you preach and seek to expand freedom by becoming sensitive to what others consider as freedom on their own path? As it is I would bet that many of your closest associates would cringe at being under the jurisdiction of your brand of freedom. I have only had communication with you for a couple days on and off the list and I only hear the word freedom mouthed by you, but no demonstration thereof.

Hopefully this is your goal. I hope you make it more obvious.

'privacy' claims to believe the following:

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Rev 12:10

For assuredly as the Lord liveth they shall see that the terrible one is brought to naught, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off; And they that make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of naught. II Nephi 27:31-32

We have spoken words, and men have made us offenders. And notwithstanding all this, our minds are not yet darkened, but feel strong in the Lord. But behold the words of the Savior: "If the light which is in you become darkness, behold how great is that darkness." Joseph Smith

And again, verily I say unto you, that which is governed by law is also preserved by law and perfected and sanctified by the same. That which breaketh a law, and abideth not by law, but seeketh to become a law unto itself, and willeth to abide in sin, cannot be sanctified by law, neither by mercy, justice, nor judgment. Therefore, they must remain filthy still. All kingdoms (this would include human) have a law given; And unto every kingdom is given a law; and unto every law there are certain bounds also and conditions. All beings who abide not in those conditions are not justified. D&C 88:34-36;38-39

All of the peoples of the Book of Mormon were subject to laws. In one of many examples it is written:
Therefore, it came to pass that they assembled themselves together in bodies throughout the land, to cast in their voices concerning who should be their judges, to judge them ACCORDING TO THE LAW which had been given them; and they were exceedingly rejoiced because of the LIBERTY which had been granted unto them. Mosiah 29:39

Indeed. Just law brings liberty.

"Today, I tell you that He (Christ) will come; that plans for His coming are already set on foot, but I set no date or hour. The time is known only to the two or three, but in such an hour as ye think not, He will come."
