Seeing Christ

Judes
"You two (Travis and Diane) are the most negative and hateful[to me] people on the list."

We all welcome you back, but Judes let us make a new start here and apply the most basic characteristics of true disciples by looking upon the soul of others. We can disagree with others, but at the same time continue to see the Christ within them.

Travis gave me a bad time when he first came on the list, but I sensed within him a true searcher and could definitely feel the Christ struggling within him.

Then when I met him in person at our group gathering I discovered a big guy with a big heart. The entire group loved him.

I have never met Diane, but she has been with us from the beginning and I have never seen anything but sincerity and sweetness radiate from her. She has lost a little patience a couple times, but usually with just cause.

"Whatsoever you do unto the least of these my brethren you do unto me."

Pick the person on the list who is the "least" in your eyes. In other words, your opinion is lower of him or her than any other.

If Christ were to post here He would say that the way you treat this person is the way you would treat Him."

No fair to say, "But this person did this to me..."

That has nothing to do with it. What has to do with everything is how each of us treats our fellowman.

Let us continue to be honest about our disagreements, but be heartfelt in our acceptance of each other as manifestations of Christ.

"If we start right it is easy to go right all the time; but if we start wrong we may go wrong, and it will be a hard matter to get right."
Joseph Smith
